• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Food needs to improve at stadiums. The Swansea.com food has improved, but it's still pretty shitty. The prices are worse as once inside, you're stuck inside.

I'd been told Wrexham get their food from M&S. Not sure how accurate that is but I have noticed they are "proud partners" of Wrexham.

Grandpa needs his medicine, now that’s one place, I wouldn’t mind trying.
I went to the one in the city last month, and I have to say it was the tastiest toastie I have ever tasted.

Good luck to anyone that wants to dine in there though, enough room for two people. The opening Sketty is meant to be bigger though.

Been to Awa a couple of times; highly recommend it.
Never tried there, but heard good things about it. I’m hoping to try I think it’s called Raj Kitchen next to the Castle, think they’ve made it into the wales top curry awards, I passed there Friday night around 7 ish and it looked rammed.

Yes I've heard good reports about Raj Kitchen, the chef used to run the Indian takeaway above the Dockers Club and a good mate of mine reckoned it was the best curry he'd ever eaten.

Yes, that’s right, I’m sure I had a delivery from the one by the dockers, and at the time I wasn’t too impressed, but now looks like they’ve upped their game. I haven’t had an Indian for what seems ages, had a couple of poor ones more recently, and it puts you off then.

Been to Raj Kitchen and it was't great. The food took forever to come out (place wasn't that busy) and the quality was fairly poor. I've only been the once so it could have been just one of those things.

Rasoi in SA1 is different gravy.

Are you sure that wasn't the Hilton Indian takeaway just up from the Dockers? The one I'm on about was upstairs in the Dockers.

Went to the original Rasoi (Glamorgan Arms) a good few years ago and wasn't impressed, ordered a chicken tika masala and they brought me out something that wasn't, they wouldn't admit to a mistake, just said it was thier "secret ingredients". Tasted more like a madras.

"Secret ingredients" wink wink
