However he won't be living in actual Middlesborough will he!!

They have top class training facilities that England have used (clearly a Southgate link) and he will have pretty much the whole of North Yorkshire in which to find a place to live.
Lol. You thought I was serious.

When you go after a manager you’re going after his back room staff as well….very complex process, I’ve had a bit of a laugh but time to sit back, relax and chew on some builtong…..and no that’s not a hint👍

I hope we take our time and search for someone of high quality and potential and not rush into a decision to appease fans
The next manager odds list is a depressing read. But think there’s a lot of potential if we look across the continent. We’ve spread the net far and wide with last few transfer windows so I’m sure we are not limiting ourselves here

Is it normal that bookies completely take the betting down for new managers? Ours hasn’t been up all day I believe, seems strange to me 🤷‍♂️

Reading that Norwich haven't offered the job to Jon Dahl Tomasson, I wouldn't be too disappointed if we approached him.

It's probably not a huge market for them is it? I should imagine it's quite easy for them to lose a lot of money if they're caught with their pants down

For any good quality business , succession planning starts immediately on the appointment of the new person in post. This is normal good quality business planning. It’s even more important in football as the time in role is so short. I’m sure Adam Worth will have an extensive list of managerial candidates that are favoured by Swansea.
They will already know key criteria, stats including length of contracts etc. (likely compensation)
They should have a top 3 list with hellberg at the top. They should also have kept number 2&3 warm in case something go’s wrong with hellberg - I’m sure they were aware he was talking to other clubs with likely more financial clout which is why we moved so quickly to get it over the line.
I’m guessing they’re now advancing number 2 &3 from this morning.
There’s no way anyone is going to be in place for the Bristol game as these negotiations take a long time. I also think it is unlikely we’ll have in manager in place for the following 2 games , derby and WBA.
It is important that the swans get this appointment right and we all need to show some patience - easily said but very hard in practice.
