• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Mate it is awesome. It's a hidden gem in European terms, IMO. Well, I suppose it depends on how people define 'awesome', but if you want a couple of beers on a quiet backroad, massive olives and grapes on the table, followed by a great pizza...
Where should I head to south of Lecce? Give me some ideas for a long weekend.

Rossi’s hasn’t been good for a long time, service poor and if you sit down to eat it’s as if you walked in and took a shit in the floor. I do eat there relatively frequently due to circumstances and usually go for the rice dishes, curry or chilli, which taste okay but are never hot enough. A couple of years ago I had corned beef hash which was cold under the gravy and faggots were the same. Don’t like the chips. One thing the do really well is the fish bites, cooked to order in he come out hot and crispy, lovely with a splash of salt and vigenar. Roma’s the best locally by a country mile.

Prefer a warm faggot do you?
