Disgrace! Club and Players - We Are Going Down!!

Which one of them is gonna be rolled out to feed us the same bullshit of sticking together and we can get ourselves through this, my guess Burgess.

It looks like we are going down, unless we help Matos out with more players in January, which I can't see happening. The foreign signings of the last two seasons are falling short of championship level.
Data from Tipton sunday league div 2 doesnt seem to hack it in the Championship.

Come March, April time I have a sneaky feeling we will end appointing the manager we should have appointed in November of this year in a desperate attempt to stay in this division.

For obvious reasons I hope I'm wrong.

We are circling the drain, it feels inevitable our time is coming

It feels to me like we've generally got that little bit worse season after season.

Unless Matos is an inspired choice, it feels like we'll be right in a dogfight this season... And let's be honest, if the people who made the decision on him are the same ones who made the decisions on the signings, then God help us

Who?

This may have been asked elsewhere but just caught the highlights from yesterday, the first goal should have been avoided if Franco wasn’t rolling around on the floor play acting

The second was once again a defence flat footed because that’s what our two central defenders are most naturally and the third was the same

We had three shots at goal all game - losing by one goal flattered us, same as it did midweek

A pathetically poor squad, the results of years of mis management and what seems to be continued mis management of our club

It’s a theme we are beaten by self inflicted performances.
The going down and staying down is not just Franco but is embarrassing. It used to be called cheating. The will to try and win back lost balls is nonexistent.
We have a squad that just has this I tried now over to someone else attitude
We are weak physically and mentally, you can nearly guarantee that we get hustled off the ball in any 50/50 challenges.
Towards the end of the first half I was saying we need a third. That’s how little faith I have in this team
Facts don’t lie as far as goals and points are concerned. You then add chances created for and against
There is a lot more than a simple tweak here and there needed
Fitness and style of play can be worked on but difficult during a season
Without the mental strength and will to win will mean nothing.

Personally, I think Burgess is a good player. The problem is when you put Cabango alongside him, and key alongside Cabango (I'll leave Tymon as he is for now) you've got two steady, but slow, centre backs, and an AWOL right back. We looked more solid with Burgess and Casey (Kasey?) together, Cabango out, and possibly Parker or another at right back. Let's be honest, a decent back four will keep us up (midfield is another conundrum). Hate to say it again but Cabango's no captain, and not even a first team player at the moment.

The stats results have a relegation look about them.
4 home defeats in a row
5 points from the last 30 available.
5 losses on the bounce now.

We are not even getting close in games yesterday shots 3 for 26 against.
Was similar against Southampton.
Either the dressing room.is toxic.
Or we have signed a load of rubbish.
