• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Crap bowling. Crap batting. Crap fielding. Crap organisation and planning. A horrible tour so far and a change of approach is needed quickly.
It's already too late, we have seen it countless times over the years, a meek surrender at the hands of the Aussies.

At the moment, the Aussies have fronted up in both Tests; England have rolled over as per usual on Australian soil. Copy and paste stuff.

Big Ben to hit a quick fire 150 tomorrow with Jacks and the bowlers in support. Then skittle the Aussies for 100 under lights. There. Sorted.

If that happens it'll be the biggest miracle since Jesus fed thousands with two loaf's and five fishes 😂

Piss poor. Absolutely hopeless.

I was not expecting anything but an Aussie series win but I expected a bit of fight and a close series.

Pussies

10. Cheeky twat. 🤣 I remember watching it with my old man though. BBC1. Peter West. Jim Laker, Richie Benaud and all that. One of my early sport watching memories.
I remember it clearly. Watched it with my mam. She loved her cricket and we couldn’t believe what was happening. Better coverage as they had one main camera, so every other over was behind the stumps as Willis and Old knocked them flying.

6 months later little scared me packed my bag to seek my fortune in old London Town. It really can’t be nearly 45 years ago.
