• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Look out, no mention of a DOF and pre-warning a potential quiet January transfer window. Think I’ll log out until at least February.

Indeed.

I suspect that most people would like competition at RB, but it wouldn't be the end of the World if we didn't because we've got enough depth in the middle for Galbraith to continue there until the Summer if needs be.

We've chopped and changed so much over recent years I think I'd prefer just to let Matos crack on with what we already have than have a big turnover again. Maybe let Benson go back and bring in an alternative loan wide player.

We should establish a lottery contest named: “Guess the next celebrity owner”. Meanwhile, Maybe Martha will design the next home kit😁

I am sorry I had to Google the lady. Still - all adds to the pot.

If we only got an upgrade to RB and replaced any outgoings I don't think anyone reasonable would be giving the club too much stick.

I think it would be ok if we sent back Benson, let Santos move on, loaned out Wales and replaced with a RB even on loan.....that would be ok.

We def need more imo. More quality is needed. But even if we hope Matos can improve current players, we’ve only got Casey to cover the centre backs and also only another kid on loan to cover LB. No RB cover, as you say. No RW cover if we’re not using Benson. We can’t even give most of our players a bit of a rest when the fixtures come thick and fast.

But at least it’s good to know we don’t see all that as a problem. It saves me getting my hopes up! I also won’t be expecting too much for the rest of the season.
