Senedd election

It’s definitely the safest bet to get what you want and if you can get that percentage up to high 50s then you’re quids in irrespective of anything else.

However, there’s a pretty important race for the bronze medal and 10-15% of the vote in each of the 16 constituencies.

Which one(s) are in the race will depend where you live, but any of the Greens, Labour, Lib Dems or Tories getting that 3rd place will very likely pick up the 5th/6th seat in each one

On a more serious note, you make a very good point. With a fully proportional system each vote now counts. So any vote for a party other than Reform (or the tories) carries equal weight in keeping them away from power. Which frankly is the main priority on May. For me anyway.

You’d think that it would encourage more people to vote, although there’s so much apathy towards politics and politicians I’m not sure it’ll make much difference.

I’m not really sure which party/parties it would benefit if turnout was high (relatively) anyway?

Traditionally the tories benefit from lower turnout as their voters are more likely to turn out anyway. Whether that transfers to Reform who knows. Given where we are I’m not sure that tradition is relevant at the moment. May’s really is an election like none before it.

Have you listened to Darren Millar on the fix Wales video's if he believes what he says and can carry even half of what he says out, he'd be a good bet, but they'll say anything to gather votes, but when he comes to doing things they fall alarmingly short, they're all the same that's the trouble.
None or very few are actually honest.

Apathy, yes its exactly that, cause very few if any are actually trustworthy.

Reform had an election promise that they would freeze council tax in England. Reform in 4 out of 5 councils won, raised it by the maximum allowed of 5% and the other raised it by 3.99%. The reality is plain.

That the whole charade from Fartage down is full of lying incompetent fuckwits? Colour me shocked.

I think the best way forward is just to highlight, in short statements, how bad Reform are. They may, ultimately, just end up being another form of the Conservative party. The defections could possibly give them more of a presentable, professional party.

The defections may offer Reform some experience but it’s experience of abject failure.
