Hero’s are better because they are more varied.I saw her in Swansea Market just before Christmas when I was buying a load of loose Quality Street off the sweet stall.
I said “would you like one of my Quality Street,Bon?”
She replied “no thanks Dar I’m holding out for a hero.”
Yes it is a happy momentSounds a bit gay to me.
Get these 2 home wins and I really do think irrelevant of what many call an average team, we may just wake up a few teams to take notice we are ready to pounce and attempt an unthinkable play off stake. Its a long shot and we got to get the win tomorrow first, which won't be easy. The players should be excited about next 2 matches. No fear, just pure drive and passion. Anything less would be a disappointment. The thing I’m excited about is the fact that if we are able to beat both Bristol City and Preston this week there will be a huge feel good factor around the place. We all know that the 2 matches will be bloody tough and any result is possible, but getting 2 wins would be magical… especially with it most likely being the biggest ever Home FOOTBALL crowd we have seen at the stadium.
You have to also factor in there is a difference in about £10 each for the tickets between the 2 matches. As Dar mentioned these matches kicking off at 12.30 means lots of youngsters are tied up with their normal Saturday morning activities. I think we will sell a few more tonight and tomorrow morning for the Bristol Match and the crowd will be swelled a little.
Also I have to add that the Preston Match had cheaper tickets available through the tickets for key workers. That would have also led to the upsurge in ticket sales.
As a promotion push against 2 teams just( ish ) above us and having just lost to another one above us then dropping another 3 pts IMHO would be the end of any promotion hopes, so it just has to be 6 out of 6.Steady on! Let's not run before we can walk and we need to be focused purely on today's game and not look to far ahead because that's how a tumble can occur.
It's not out of the realms of possibility that we can make a charge for the top 6 but we should have enough experience to realise that we have found these situations over the last few seasons when the opportunity has arisen.
Let's hope they get the players exited for today's match first and foremost(which i am sure they will)
One thing we have learned this season is inconsistency is an issue with this squad so I would hope there is no pressure being put on their shoulders for these next 2 home games.
Both are very much games we can win but it wouldn't be the end of the world if we didn't win them both. Minimum 3 points over these 2 games please drive![]()
Totally agree. But minimal for me is 4 points and no less. There won't be a better time for these players than these 2 games. But again this is the SwansSteady on! Spot on, Paul.I’m saying exactly what I said in the post you replied to. Some posters have to comment in the negative to pretty much every single piece of positive news. Adding mealy mouthed ‘I hope this or that’ doesn’t make their nonsense otherwise. A classic “fun at party’s” personality if you like.
I’m not Paul, that’s a different Neath Jack, and a thoroughly decent chap he is too.Spot on, Paul.
Far too many cheap shot digs by the usual Debbie Downers on here.
Jealousy is the thief of joy, and there's oodles of spiteful, ugly jealousy stinking out our forums.
Mods need to flush 'em out, prompto........
