Was it me or did Galbraith get a shirt pull in the first half in the area where the ref played advantage.

Yes, that's right. The ref waved play on for some inexplicable reason. What more of an advantage is there than a penalty?! (other than scoring from free play, which we didn't).

It looked like a pen on the tellybox.
There were quite a few decisions he completely missed. A few of their CBs arms all over and pulling players back, one looked like a red.
Although Sobers second yellow looked soft, I didn’t actually see him kick out on the replay but that just may have been the angle or my pork pies 👀

He could arguably have seen red before that when he clipped Key's heels when he had picked up a loose pass. The ref bizarrely waved play on and they scored from the corner that came directly from that advantage which was rightfully disallowed.

The kick out on Franco was subtle but the ref saw enough that he didn't think Franco was making it up and didn't hesitate to send him off. Possibly he realized he should have sent him off after the Key trip and decided to make amends.

This was probably the case.
What a shocking performance the by the ref.

I was unsure about the first yellow Sorba Thomas got yesterday, just looked like Franco blocked his shot but having seen it on the replay, it is a yellow. He goes in high for the volley knowing Franco is there. Not sure what he was up to yesterday but could have easily been sent off before he eventually did.

Like others have mentioned, I think the second yellow was because he realised he should have already sent him off for the blatant trip on Key which almost led to them taking the lead (perhaps the fourth official told him?). I think the incident he was sent off for was a complete dive by Franco which I don't like, but I guess justice was done.

Watching the highlights last night, he could have seen red for the first yellow card. He knew Franco was there, but Thomas' foot was at head height and could have been really nasty for Franco. Shades of Chico for me.

From the opposite end of the stadium to the Galbraith incident, it looked like he was signalling a penalty, then we just carried on playing.

He had a mare of a game, just lucky for us we came out of it better than Stoke did, unlike the infamous Madley game which I an still not over...

He fucked up. He tried the "advantage" call after the whole stadium screamed at him.

He was shit for both sides.
Should he have sent Ronald off for putting his hands on him? Gave him a yellow card instead. There's a local referee sitting behind me and he reckons he should have been sent off.

I thought Ronald was very lucky to get just a yellow, absolutely stupid from him

Exsactly that: Possibly he realized he should have sent him off after the Key trip and decided to make amends.
