Yes, that's right. The ref waved play on for some inexplicable reason. What more of an advantage is there than a penalty?! (other than scoring from free play, which we didn't).Was it me or did Galbraith get a shirt pull in the first half in the area where the ref played advantage.
He fucked up. He tried the "advantage" call after the whole stadium screamed at him.Was it me or did Galbraith get a shirt pull in the first half in the area where the ref played advantage.
He could arguably have seen red before that when he clipped Key's heels when he had picked up a loose pass. The ref bizarrely waved play on and they scored from the corner that came directly from that advantage which was rightfully disallowed. It looked like a pen on the tellybox.
There were quite a few decisions he completely missed. A few of their CBs arms all over and pulling players back, one looked like a red.
Although Sobers second yellow looked soft, I didn’t actually see him kick out on the replay but that just may have been the angle or my pork pies![]()
This was probably the case.He could arguably have seen red before that when he clipped Key's heels when he had picked up a loose pass. The ref bizarrely waved play on and they scored from the corner that came directly from that advantage which was rightfully disallowed.
The kick out on Franco was subtle but the ref saw enough that he didn't think Franco was making it up and didn't hesitate to send him off. Possibly he realized he should have sent him off after the Key trip and decided to make amends.
I agree, he made some bizarre decisions. He looked young, inexperienced and a bit out of his depth to me.This was probably the case.
What a shocking performance the by the ref.
Should he have sent Ronald off for putting his hands on him? Gave him a yellow card instead. There's a local referee sitting behind me and he reckons he should have been sent off.He fucked up. He tried the "advantage" call after the whole stadium screamed at him.
He was shit for both sides.
I thought Ronald was very lucky to get just a yellow, absolutely stupid from himShould he have sent Ronald off for putting his hands on him? Gave him a yellow card instead. There's a local referee sitting behind me and he reckons he should have been sent off.
