Stayed at Puerto Rico down by the Marina (if it was there 30 years ago) S. It is a much bigger place now with a brand new Shopping centre above the older Commercial Centre. Huge choice of places to eat and the Lager is 2 Euros a pint in loads of the bars. Weather was good apart from a few days of Storm Therese but even then it was sunny in between the rain. Yes, newish motorway basically from airport down past Maspalomas Puerto Rico and on to Port Mogan which is a lovely place. Not the prettiest of places but excellent for sun out of season.

That is basically where the apartments we stay in are. Go through the small tunnel, under the bridge, past the restaurants on the left as you go up the hill and just beyond them on the right.

We always said that we'd go back one day and stay at Port Mogan, doubt that'll happen now, prefer the shorter flights, to Spain, Majorca or Portugal although this is the first time for us to go to Portugal. Italy is on the list at some point, Malta another place, flight time there is a bit longer though I think, eldest went to Malta a few years ago.

I can't remember what it was called now, bit of a hilly walk back up to the place bar and pool on the left and out chalet or whatever it was called was on the left, me and Mrs overdid the sangria on the barbecue evening dear me we never felt so ill in the morning

As creatures of habit we go to same place in Puerto Rico every year, Servatur Terrazamar directly opposite the centre and do enjoy several brekkies in Tiffanys, 2 weeks in Sept this year sorted

Breakfast in Tiffanys, sounds catchy - watched the end of the Wales game there. Haven't tried breakfast there yet probs because of us being by the Las Olas centre - creatures of habit means we get to find our favourite places

Do Brexit supporters still exist? I’m actually intrigued whether they’ve become like the Iraq war supporters and not pretend they never supported the venture in the first place.

I assume there’s still some die hards out there. Still dreaming of that wonderful global Britain that nostalgic Britannia rules the waves vision in an era of tariffs and hegemony.

Yes, which makes sense.

25% of the Country are thick as pig sh1t.

There’s always a 10-15% of an electoral base that has tendencies towards extreme. The inflated 25% I’m assuming is simply just “burn the house down” fuck it types.

But I do think fundamentally you’ll struggle to find many beyond the pig ignorant who really feel down that the made a good call.

Which means the Country needs to be led decisively in the right direction and not be scared by a media class that are drifting away from the general public.
