We’ve got to give Lissah a chance next season him along with Key and Galbraith for back up is enough I think. CB definitely maybe 2
Lissah needs to come in as RB cover and 4th choice centre half. He will be involved enough throughout the season and that for me is his next step in his career.

Key needs to be moved on and a RB sourced.

Galbraith shouldn't be even in contention for RB if we get quality in that position. And Lissah needs a shot and we need at least 2 more defenders.
Why spend money on a right back when we’ve got one already and a very talented youngster we need to give a chance to? Galbraith is still handy to have to be able to play there if there’s injuries.

Crazy end of season game but really good to see the effort until the 90th minute. Definitely looked the most likely to nick it but a draw probably a fair result overall.

Not sure we learnt anything we didn’t already know. If we want to be top 8 next year we need a 1st choice (and significant upgrade) signing this summer at centre half and out wide.

Obviously Matos doesn’t think Parker is anywhere near the level - I hope that won’t be the case with Lissah and Congreve next season based on the reviews from Scotland.

I’d like to see us work out how to get Vipotnik and Idah on the park together. Not saying it should be the default position but worth trying something out - whether 3-5-2 or a 4-4-2 diamond - before the end of the season IMO.

Roll on Monday evening!

hearing we can do far far better than Lissah

almost all of the heritage players are at risk - the new regime means business, at an altogether different level

best in class, breeds best in class, and beyond..........

.

our away fans (the singing has yet again been immense) put many of our online armchairs to shame - in so many many ways

time for the following to go to some away matches to test their mettle:

- Pego
- cma
- swanseaboy/girl
- copa
- blackpool
-........
- Floatabout

and many many more, besides.......

(edited....on an ongoing basis......)
To be fair Pego comes over regularly from Spain to home and away games. That’s a lot of travelling for a game of football.

Idah in a free, roaming role across the park behind Vipi - spanning10/7/11

awesome, league-leading combo

Sheff Utd are no mugs and will be up there competing for promotion next season, so it was good to see us go toe to toe at their place and get some goals. Great comeback.

Some real sloppy play as well, but Joel Ward is not going to be our RB next season, so I'll let that pass in the bigger picture. Idah was superb when he came on, so was Eom. Widell was excellent despite his groundhog day moment trying and failing to side-foot the ball into a gaping net.

I don’t think we’re going to have that much money to spend unless we sell Vipotnik. I think our highest priority is stopping as many goals conceded. Key has looked good since coming back from his drop in form, I wouldn’t be in too much of a hurry to move him on. Not when CB are a bigger priority

I thought Widell had probably his best game for us today, he just needed that shot to go in to make it an excellent performance. All the subs came on and made a difference, a few players or maybe a defence coach who can drum some discipline into the back four.

We are just so flaky at the back with too many individual errors, there just doesnt seem a brain between them all and i include Tymon who is great going forward but hardly a colossus at the back.

Still after that rant a tremendous comeback in what would have been an entertaining game for the neutral and at least we are not Blades fans, who have seen them drop leads all season,

Dropped 29 points from winning positions, would probably be in promotion spots otherwise

What a comeback. That was a very entertaining game. Idah was excellent. Gutted Widell didn't net his effort. As someone else mentioned would love us to play Vipi and Idah together. Hopefully try it before end of season. See you all Monday. 🦢👍

Not against that, but important to get the balance correct in midfield.

Assuming 3-5-2 isn’t really an option this season, then I’d weigh up Galbraith & Stamenic playing as two 6s (Fulton as cover) and then Franco and Widell playing ahead of them and shifting wider into a narrow 4-4-2 without the ball.

Options of Eom, Nunez, Cullen, Yalcouye & Ronald from the bench for the last 20-30 mins depending on the game situation.

Worth a try at some point over the last 6 games?

There does seem to be a reluctance to play Walta from Matos. You would think that when we went 3-1 down, it would have been the ideal time to bring him on?

I agree but if your gonna play Ward who was cramping up at end of the game a full 90 minutes and with his legs gone, and no sign of Parker. I just don't see him being featured in the team. Irrelevant if we want him.
