A three way playoff place shootout on the final day of the season
Even a draw would be enough for Derby if Hull and Wrexham both lose

Hull and Wrexham realistically both have to win and win big to win the goal difference contest]

Based on games I have watched lately though Wrexham blow hot and cold and Hull were shocking and were deservedly beaten by Charlton yesterday.

I fancy Derby to pip them both to the final spot

I saw the prematch chatoin the pitch and noted that Lampard said that signing Grimes was the first step in rebuilding and setting up the way they were going to play.Say what you like about Grimes and his time with us ,but I always thought it would be a loss to us,We have coped without him but they have scored bucketfuls of goals with him in midfield this season so you have to question our tactics over the years.Good luck to him in the PL at last he has got there.

I don't think we can give Grimes much credit for their bucketful of goals, seeing as he has 2 goals and 3 assists in 45 games.

It’s going to be a bonkers week of football. Starting with Southampton v Ipswich on Tuesday.

A Southampton win on Tuesday would set up a brilliant final day. 4 teams would all be within a point of each other for automatic promotion and 3 teams within a point of each other for the final playoff spot. Now we can't relegate Charlton, I imagine half the crowd would be focusing more on results elsewhere!

Even if Ipswich lose at Southampton, they should beat QPR at home on last day of the season which will be enough to see them promoted.
