Probably Jay's best performance of the season. Stamenic was a little too static in the first half. Noticeable difference 2nd half.
I have noticed since Matos arrived that Jay quite often comes over and discusses tactics etc with Matos when there is a break in play then goes back and starts passing on instructions. He is not only playing some of the best football he has ever played here but also acting as a player/coach on the field.

He will never get to the legend status that some lesser players have achieved but i think history will show that Fulton has been nothing but a positive infleuence on this team.

We really need to be selling Liam Cullen. For his sake and ours.
When I watched the U21’s against Newcastle I honestly thought Woodward should be playing in the senior side and possibly McKenzie and a couple of others. I’d like to see Cullen and Ronald moved on and new blood either brought in or through from the age groups. At least Matos brought Woodward on today and he showed what a young hungry player can do given the opportunity.

Fulton was excellent when he came on. Definitely looked a more positive side when he was introduced. I like Stamenic but sometimes feel like he’s an extra defender when he starts.
I think he should have a go at CB from time to time.

Bit of a boredom shit fest for the first hour.. the mysterious Cullen, the ineffective Ronald, slow build up and Widdell on the wing all contributed to a beach session.

Fair play after the hour, Walta started to shine and Fulton started to get a grip of the midfield. Liked the Idah introduction and the cameo from Woodward especially him having to point to Ronald where to pass.

Good to chat to Darren and decent day out with a fast 3 hour drive back.

This thread probably has some life in it yet but seeing as it’s (as things currently stand anyway) the last ever JA.net/Planet Swans match thread, a huge shout out to Jackharris for his work on these over the years in making them by far the most popular and engaging match threads on the whole of Swans internet. That much is indisputable.

All hail Jackharris.
Thanks for your lovely words ECB it is appreciated. Thank you for your kind words in the thread when Blaze passed away and I wrote about the fact that I was one of 4 brothers like his sister was and my brother passed away and I talked about this and that and you made a really nice comment which I really appreciated.
