Looking on from Wiltshire, I thought the results in Wales were superb. A Welsh party winning in Wales for Wales. What’s not to like if you are Welsh and you no longer wish to be governed by the Anglo/Westminster centric political class. Auntie has been busy polishing up the shat house, that is the Reform Party, for a couple of years now, but the majority rejected them. Hope Plaid realise they are now in a battle and not attempt the Starmer tactics of trying to woo those that would kick their heads in for fun and steal their house.

I think whether you view yesterday’s results as positive or negative depends on whether you’ve accepted the rise or Reform or not. I have because it’s happened. They’ve essentially replaced the Tories as the main “right wing” party in this country (the UK). They’re basically cunts but they are what the Tories always were, or at least have been for the last 40 years, but were afraid to say. So on that basis I’d say an unashamedly left wing, nationalist party beating them soundly in Wales is a massive net positive. What Plaid has to do now is actually govern and as we’ve seen countless times over the years opposition is easy. Governing is hard.

I’ve always been interested in politics but I’m feeling flat with it all. It’s tiring fighting this type of shite.

I’m tired of the simplicity of everything. But that’s the trick make it simple and the media class control the narrative. What does that = reform so that entrenched wealth is protected.

I hate to break it to you, but in a recent post on the Reform policies thread, you appear to have admitted to holding the same/similar views on migration as Reform for several years, and you've acknowledged that the only difference is that it has become a more mainstream view these days.

For me, that does not place you anywhere near the centre I'm afraid. Even though I can understand why you might like to think that.

Umm no that’s not what I said at all thanks.

My views are very very different my point was that I had some concerns when it wasn’t cool about the scale of change.

I’ve always favoured eg FOM and a humanitarian approach to asylum that would provide safe routes and manage the issue across borders.

My point is quite simple and I said so many times at the time that shutting down moderate voices was creating the conditions for extremes. The BNP were getting over a million votes at this point.

Labour have had 14 years to formulate a plan on how to turn the country around.

People want to see less whataboutery and more action.

Starmer is the PM and ultimately the buck stops with him. The majority of the country do not support him and that is a major problem.

If he is going to stay on as PM then he better start turning this ship around for the sake of the Labour Party and the people of the UK.
