Does my head in, i knew the minute they scored they'd find a way to disallow it.
If arsenal scored that, they wouldn't have overturned it.

Not a fan of VAR in the stadium but as most have said the correct decision made.

Don’t really understand why the attacking team risk fouling in the box these days mind. Shouldn’t give them any possible reason to disallow it.

I would have been happy with a win for either team today
Arsenal win and its one step closer to City winning nothing this season
West Ham win and its one step closer to Spuds getting relegated

There can be no doubts about it being the correct call. What’s not mentioned in this thread is the point about inconsistency; this grappling is seen week after week and generally goes without punishment. It’s the inconsistency which needs fixing, and this will aid stamping it out in the first place.

Very, very soft decision. Considering on the opening day, an Arsenal player did exactly the same thing to the Man Utd keeper and nothing was done.

I also find it hilarious that during the same phase of play, Declan Rice does the Heimlich Manoeuvre on Mavrapanos and drags him into the goalnet. Pen all day long. But they didn't review that did they.

Let's be honest - VAR has, and continues to, ruin the sport at the top level. It's an inconsistent mess, it's made refs bottle decisions on the pitch (the safety blanket making them lazier, therefore worse on-field referees) and the amount of time it takes to make big decisions is embarrassing.

Got to be honest, I long for the days when we just let the refs get on with it.
