If Makerfield vote reform for the belly laugh on the night then it just shows we’re not a serious Country anymore.

We have no interest in getting better, we’ve given up.

It will plunge this Country into chaos there’ll be spikes in interest rates and we’ll be heading for a reform Gov.

I can see it though and it’s troubling. Just let Labour have their debate and see where we’re at afterwards.

I’ve zero sympathy for those that will lose their benefits and everything else that goes along with it if reform get in. They’ve been warned over and over again. Time to sink or swim lads, no more state help.

One of the things Burnham has in his favour is a long standing and very public commitment to proportional representation.

I wonder if it'll make more people in Makerfield vote Reform, if they fancy a bit of schadenfreude.

Come on, give us a laugh.

(I jest...)

I also believe he and Angela Rayner are more likely to call our Reform for what they are. What Rocknj says is correct. Anyone with a mortgage at renewal, anyone on any benefit, disability, chronic illness will be fair game. That's before any consideration of colour, gender, religion or sexuality. As Scotia said previously the media and a manipulated social media are guilty of some whopping lies. See this today:

The lie travels around the world before the truth gets its pants on. The lie is further spread. People are gullible enough to want to transfer blame for their own problems and dare I say failings than accept their own actions may be responsible. Such as voting for Johnson.

I agree the byelection is a huge risk for Burnham, but he's got no choice if he wants to take over the crown. The clock is ticking, and the sooner he can get in place and start making radical changes, the better. Just don't disappoint us like Starmer, Andy. Really get stuck in.

He'll win that by-election. People really like the idea of a prime minister in their constituency, and this is basically Burnham vs Farage, so the Labour vote will get its arse out the door.

It's all mad though. Nuts.

Funny listening to Starmer stating the UK march tomorrow is full of thugs, aggressors and right wing people looking to divide UK society.

Funny cos it’s fairly obviously true? You’ve only got to see the type of person who argues that it won’t be full of thugs, aggressors and the far right to confirm how true it is.

So if Burham wins the by election he'll be off to Westminster !?! So the locals are voting for a fleeting candidate who has his own personal agenda.

Starmer the lover of all things Islam and Globolist vision racking up our welfare bill and driving high earners out of the UK isn't dividing UK society? Or is this his way of "fixing" things if given time?

Stop the boats innit.

I think he’ll win it comfortably. For no other reason than I fucking hope he does 😅
