    I was up there recently, it’s not a shithole although it is currently under development at one end. There’s been plenty of smaller clubs in the championship over the years and they are growing. It’s not a stretch for them to be a L1/Championship club on their own merits.

    Wrexham is easily big enough to naturally support a L1/Championship club and should never have dropped out of the league. They have a decent stadium and facilities and it’s not a bad area to live. They are at level which is sustainable without Hollywood, albeit punching slightly next season...
