Where is this info we are getting 2 more at the back?
3 has been lined up and short listed and Darling situation as we all know has not helped matters. Not sure what will come out of this but there should be more, and more likely from July 1st.

Doesn't look like Darling is staying. Not suprised. This is from Swansea Independent Forum.

Although most know about a move to Norwich City being preferred.

Couldn’t help noticing his business interests have changed recently. Although not an absolute indicator with the current news going around it makes sense.

Got some news this evening that he was never really keen on Birmingham and they didn’t seem too keen on him. Plus his injury from the end of the season had to be positively approved before he could sign for anyone, this could well drag on if his latest scans aren’t transparent enough for a clear decision.

Not sure on the latest there.

Norwich have offered him a far bigger deal we have been told which far outweighs the Swans offer on a basic weekly wage and offers bigger incentives over his contract. He gets a huge signing on fee, whatever that means.

** The last thing we have is the deal isn’t 100% as of this morning.

Either way he has played his last game for the Swans.

Get ready for the agent written statement for the gullible.

1 of the 3 is Santos so....
I would still love to see Widell's brother Casper brought in. Was top of the list in January. Now down lower on the top 10 CB list

If Santos had have signed at the end of July nobody would have battered an eyelid. With the business we've already done it's obv that he's here as back-up and yet cos the owners didn't wait for barrel scraping time and brought in some body that rigor hadn't quiet set in or give Christie a new 3 yr deal posters are up in arms.

I think it was quoted that we have 3 players on a list lined up to replace Darling but obviously only 1 would be signed from that list of 3.

The questions we all want a bit of confirmation on, is Santos been signed as the back up to 2 main centre halves? Are we still in the market for 2 centre halves or 1 if Darling does stay?

If the increasingly likely scenario of Darling leaving comes true then I think we could do a lot worse than to go for Casper Widell. Some will point to him as only just getting promoted from the Dutch 2nd division but the season before he did play in their top division so he is not lacking in experience.

Joe Low while coming from a lower division is also a player we have been credited with interest in for some time and is out of contract and would present another option with potential for growth and resale value.

Massive overreaction to the Santos deal, he’s experienced, he’s been captain and he’s been in multiple team of the seasons albeit in L1, as a 3rd choice CB when you think we had Christie and Pederson on huge wages this is acceptable imo.
Classic swans fans now saying are signings are a disaster after three very promising ones. Back up centre half on a feee ffs, plenty of experience and younger than the two he's replaced. Really don't see what the problem is

For what it’s worth, here is the Google translate:

Having played in 34 matches for Çaykur Rizespor this season, 25-year-old Hungarian defender Attila Mocsi is on the radar of Championship side Swansea City. The English team will soon be knocking on the player and the club's door with a good offer.
