It's less about Sheehan I think, it's more that they seem to show an interest in the football team and they probably realise it's been neglected for years and needs a bit of TLC.
That doesn't guarantee success of course, but it's definitely an improvement on what we had before.
I would also have faith in those behind the scenes to act quickly if it did go wrong with us and Sheehan. Look at Coleman, only one poor window under their control and he’s gone despite being a shareholder. I just hope they won’t need to act and Sheehan is the right appointment.I agree, they took a while to appoint him even on great form. Someone behind the scenes is obviously a big advocate for him but equally I sense there's a few who aren't completely sold on him.
Plenty of teams try to buy their way out of this division. Doesn't often end well. It's less about Sheehan I think, it's more that they seem to show an interest in the football team and they probably realise it's been neglected for years and needs a bit of TLC.

My concern for Sheehan is what they will expect from him at board level and what if some of the signings don't hit the ground running.I think the owners sense a gem in Sheehan and are really going for it.
If we are in with a sniff in January I think they'll spend again and really push
Hopefully things click early on and we are minimum a solid mid table position at least come November time.
Charlton/Wrexham. Dont see Charlton/Wrexham being any stronger than previous promoted teams. Depends on what Wrexham spend thoShame we didn’t do this last season in a weak league… the league looks far stronger this season in my opinion.
Building on last year with another top half season would be a good effort.
I’m predicting a 9th place finish.

He will be handled in the same way as the vast majority of other managers, measured by results. My concern for Sheehan is what they will expect from him at board level and what if some of the signings don't hit the ground running.
What will be the level of expectancy in league position come around November time?
Will they heap pressure on him if the new players are not making a big difference?
Hopefully things click early on and we are minimum a solid mid table position atleast come November time.
Sadly the Hull news wouldn't stop them from being our reported main competition for McBurnie as he is classed as a free agentYou can add Hull City placed under an embargo - magicdaps post
and
Sheff Weds just got another embargo added to the 2 they already have. Failure to pay transfer fees to other clubs.
If they want to get out from under the embargos they now have to settle 3 of them. Players wages, Transfer fees not paid, HMRC taxes not paid.
Sheff Weds almost certain to get a points deduction.
Keep this type if news coming and all the teams will start the season on -15 pts.
Leics. Weds. Who is next Hull?
