He is a recovering addict. I actually feel bad for him. Im 17 years sober myself so I understand how devastating that can be.
Ah, I didn't realise that. Wouldn't have been joking about his image change if I had.

Monday Night Football. Los Angeles Chargers haven't exactly blown the Raiders away (yet!) but nevertheless they look a different level.

Heck of a finish in the LAR PHI game. The Eagles blocked two FG attempts, the second of which denied the Rams the win, and they returned it for a walk off TD. Great sport for the neutral.

That was a fun one. Similar in the Steelers v Browns game and the Bucs v Jets, but the Bucs had enough time to hit another FG and win the game.

The Eagles did my 49ers a favour beating the Rams, as the NFC West has the Niners at 3-0, then all three other teams at 2-1. They've already been hammered by injuries, so hopefully can squeeze past the Jags next week and get some players healthy for a huge game away to the Rams on the Thursday after.

The NFC West is shaping up to be the division to watch this year.

5 turnovers on offense for the Patriots an yet we were still in the game right to the end. I think potential is there but they have something like 27 penalties through 3 games. Unreal.

Looking forward to the Browns at Ford Field got tickets behind the endzone. I was thinking of touching base with you to see if there was anywhere that will be playing the Swans game on the 27th (7:30 am in the States I think) until I realised we will be driving from Cleveland to Detroit on that day!

The game tomorrow night is on Channel 5 over here so I will be wathcing that on free to view tele which is great, don't have sky sports so have to make do with redzone usually.
Today is the day, CSF. It’s going well at half time.

Better from the Pats. Drake Maye is for real. Diggs looking unreal for under year removed from an ACL. Promising signs. Unfortunately we play th eBills next Monday. Assume the position.

It went well all the way through!!

A great day. The city was buzzing from 8am when we went for breakfast. Then people setting up tailgates.

Ford field is colossal, like a city itself. The shop was amazing, there's not a lot they haven't branded with the Lions and then sell!!

Could talk for ages about the gameday experience.

As for the game itself, interesting to watch it live. It goes a lot quicker than you think. My wife commented it didn't seem as long as 3 hours.

Had a Brown's fan 4 seats down from me sitting with Detroit friends. Also saw a number of couples one wearing Brown's colours and the others Detroit. Again the wife said she preferred the Brown's colours, she loves Autumn.

Headed over to Eminem's "Mom's Spaghetti" and proceeded to get Mom's spaghetti down my new white Lions soccer jersey.

Loads to add but it was brilliant.

Ford Field is something else. Wembley Stadium is impressive, but FF is on another level again. Where’s next on the road trip?

Currently sat having food in Saugatuck West Michigan on the shore of the lake. Been to Ottawa Beach and Holland today.

Dropping the car off in Midway tomorrow then heading downtown Chicago to the hotel for two nights before leaving Thursday night for heathrow Friday morning.

Stunning time overall. Been collecting collegewear along the way. Dicks sporting goods is amazing. No single one has been the same as another!

Got Cornell, Texas Tech, Michigan State gear. Plus a ton of lions stuff.
