Our best in class recruitment apparatus is malfunctioning before our very eyes, the promised land was in sight, but after a humongous glitch in the AI system as big as a Tsunami is telling us.. Worth, Sheehan and the Quorum needs to be binned.. and need to get back to reality, instead of algorithms, because football is played on grass, not data sheets.. I'm a convert to the Christian Alan Sheehan and the Quorum need to go convention

Its a shame. I knew who you were straight away, but you were keeping it vanilla. Its always a giveaway

You always do the same thing. Start off reasonable and then shyt the bed.
I can safely ignore you now.

As much as we now know who Penlan is really, his post can't really be ignored as nonsense.
Considering the time, finance and effort put in, it's failing and the good work with getting Modric, Snoop and other faces on board is going out the window with the manager and team not performing well enough to match the time, finance and effort put in by those with money.

It's going one way and change is needed.

Hold your nerve Daps. You have shown that are capable of rational thought. What do you think changing manager again will acheive?

If we are talking about blueprints, what kind of insane model is it to be constantly chasing new manager bounce? You end up with Evangelous Marinakis. As I said at the start of the season, when I was laughed at for suggesting that, we would be flirting with, if not necessarily mired in, a relegation tussle. I questioned why we bought so many midfielders. When I questioned the Staminic signing , more derision. You all the drank the coolaid. We had a reletively small investment and a couple of famous backers but that didnt change the fact that we have an ok squad and pretty small attendances. We are precisely where I thought we would be. The difference is, no one is laughing now.

Well something needs to change, I think he is already walking down the road to seeing his time here come to an end.
Can he change things, I think he can but he has put himself on the back foot and that makes the task tougher.
I think we need a Manager who has a bit more experience and sets his team up to try and win games rather than be pragmatic and nick games.

What makes you think he not trying to win games? We were pretty good last night. Most of you think we should be in the playoffs. Therein lies the problem. 1762424997906.png

I can't account for last night's game, I wasn't there but I have been to every home game this season.
We have had patches in games where we have been ok but you feel that if we get the first goal we then revert to a different approach rather than going for another goal.

It just feels he plays things conservative and you feel there is more there than he is setting them to play.

I get that people are pizzed. Accepting that mid table is the best we can expect is a bitter pill to swallow. Its less damaging than running from one side of the boat to the other though. I dont think I could survive if I was continually swapping between euphoria and dispair. Last night was just one game. We didnt get relegated. Preston didnt get promoted.

Spent the money but a lot was on potential sell on players who as yet haven't proved their worth.

You can see that if the light bulb moment came that we should see better football but it does need them all to click as one

The last few seasons we have finished

23/24-14th
22/23-10th
21/22-15th

I have been pretty comfortable with that, we don't have the income or spending power to be guaranteed higher than those finishes. It seems that some people have felt we are capable of more but lost patience with the previous managers.
We arguably have a better squad as a whole this season so going on consistency, Sheehan is in a bit of trouble.
I do believe that reality has been taken over with expectancy especially with many posters on here, posters who I believe are strong in their approach and believe they have a higher grounding of knowledge so believe they are correct and it has filtered in that they are correct although that is not the case.
The benchmark has been set, I believe I have been influenced by these posters and in that view I believe that Sheehan is on his last legs with us.
