We were second best from the first whistle, they dominated us and should have been more than one goal up at the break. Franco’s demise under Sheehan has been as horrific as it is inexplicable. Nobody can possibly say that he isn’t a lot better than what we’ve seen of him this season. He was so good but now a complete shell of a player (two goals aside).

I fail to see how a player posting on social media the night he's scored two own goals against his former club is an indication things are bad behind the scenes.

For what it's worth I think the players probably have had enough of Sheehan but the Burgess doesn't suggest that at all lmo

Perhaps we have to read between the lines. The own goals were unlucky - it’s not as if he scored two worldie overhead kicks and fist pumped the Ipswich fans.

The body language of the players is pretty poor and has been for quite some time. The only two games we’ve been up for were Forest and Man City - the league games either side have been us scared of our own shadow.

If Vipotnik had not been firing Sheehan would have been sacked by now - his goals have kept him in a job . The Norwich game was a good example- two goals out of nothing won us the game against a poor Norwich side at home.

We have no attacking plan at all and I see no improvement coming under Sheehan I’m sorry to say.

How can we be expected to fill every single hole the squad had in one window?

It's just not possible. The managers job in the meantime is too show with his performances and methods to the fans/ hierarchy that if those holes were filled he is capable of taking the squad somewhere.

He unfortunately has not shown us anything except a relegation team in every single department.

For the love of God we supposedly upgraded an entire squad who were playing so well at the end of last season we were just shy of the playoffs!

I don’t think it’s the recruitment either, it’s Sheehan losing his way or being overruled by O’Dea. With the upgrade on certain positions we expected the same football as he had us playing last season but even more effectively. We are now as boring and as clueless as at any time under Williams, Martin or Duff for that matter.

Don’t take my word for it just look at the way our XG has nosedived off a Cliff or the general inability to create any attacking moves. It’s diabolically bad.
