Yeah, my memory exactly. Funny, we seem to have a pretty great GK coach already. Might be worth exploring?Beat me to it

Given your defence of Sheehan recently thats a low bar you have setI get what you're saying JA - being on top of the kind of stats that actually win you football matches, I'm totally on board with.
But you know as well as I do that Martin and Williams were selected largely on the basis of their possession and pass accuracy stats - which in most cases is con man football, unless you're Pep Guardiola.
As always, I'll judge the new coach on results and performances. But I don't think anyone could blame me for being 'once bitten twice shy', given our recent track record for appointments.
This is right where I'm at as well.
Hellberg could very well be a terrific manager, but for me it seems a bit of a risk.
Personally, the candidates who I'd prefer but would likely have to convince:
Raphel Wicky
Bruno Lage
Brendan Rodgers (doubt we could afford)
Could it be that worth actually loaded the gun for the board to fire? It’s a bit weird to me that Sheehan apparently couldn’t see that we were creating nothing and all the stats pointed to us being the worst attacking side in the league.
Weird because Worth is a stats maniac and surely his endless analyses would have pointed this out from very early in the season.
We are not in England sure he is not in Norwich or SouthamptonJUST IN: Hammarby are already speaking to Fredrik Holmberg and Kalle Karlsson in case Kim Hellberg vacates his position as the club's head coach. Kim is already in England discussing personal with Swansea City as the club is willing to make him their new head coach.
Pretty sure Hammarby scored more goals than anyone, that'll make a refreshing change too.Not sure what the issue is with some posters about Hellberg? He seems on paper an exciting manager who has a lot more experience than what we have had in years and seems to be the opposite of Sheehan. One thing for sure, if he gets appointed, I can't see fans being bored of slow build up football. His stats for being an attacking football team is promising. Let's gamble, I rather do this than league one managers from last few years or play it safe with a championship manager.
And a former Bristol City player and manager. Spicy! If not the Swede, then Lee Johnson would be agood shout ahead of our next game. Proven Championship manager.
And from highlights I’ve watched they like to shoot on sight as well.Pretty sure Hammarby scored more goals than anyone, that'll make a refreshing change too.![]()
You missed out Melker Widell and Bobby Wales in your listJust to be clear - we have scored 15 goals this season, and even that number surpasses our XG of 12.5. The number of times we touch the ball in the opposition area is also a league low. Sheehan was riding on a hot Vipotnik streak - otherwise we would be down in the relegation zone.
Looking at the next appointment - we desperately need someone who can set us up to create chances and score goals.
Honestly I look at Galbraith Franco Yalcouye Stamenic Cullen Ronald Innoussa Eom Idah and Vipotnik - and while they all have some areas for improvement - this is the most potent set of midfielders wingers and strikers I have seen post relegation.
In short we were MASSIVELY underperforming - and I can see a very quick improvement being entirely possible.
I am excited for Hellberg for all the reasons stated above.
Time to ditch caution and seize this division by the throat.
