Is my memory failing me or did Phil's name actually appear on some betting sites when we were managerless at some point? I have this faint memory of someone on the message boards putting some money on him and there he was on the odds list.

Well ..some are better than others might be more charitable - a good manager can bring out their max potential, put them in their best positions, create a positive unafraid culture and set up an effective and attractive playing structure with flexibilities as needed. Easy peasy.

Huw had been in Welsh football league for a few seasons plus was a goalkeeper of a decent standard in his younger days, he was a football person and not just a fan or someone who couldn't back it up to a certain level with experiences in the sport.

We currently have people with very little knowledge or background in football. It's a damn shame that we have this lack of knowledge, experience and real feel for the game because we have guys in charge now who are willing to be pro active in trying to get things right.

On the main Norwich forum they seem to think Hellburg isn't in the running for the job there. Most seem decidedly lukewarm about him too. I think he'd be a decent appointment and I hope you get him.
