Nah I’ve seen both. One has mystery, clever dialogue, and a bit of dark humor. The other is Young Sherlock. Which has about as much to do with Sherlock Holmes as The Sweeney.
Isn't this Young Sherlock thing the latest from Guy Ritchie?

Benedict Cumberbatch and Jeremy Brett brought Sherlock Holmes to a new level of tele viewing .

I do go back to narrations online of the original Sir Arthur Conan Doyle storytelling .

I really did enjoy the Sherlock BBC screenings , I did even buy the box set and still watch on occasions on a dreary tele night .

We're onto season 2 of Fallout now, and after a dodgy start, it's got a lot better. We're enjoying it. Reminds me of a cross between the Wizard of Oz, His Dark Materials and 28 Days Later.
Also on the 2nd series of Fallout. A guy in work said about Fallout, ‘You just need to get through the first few episodes of the 1st series’. Spot on. Much better after that

Jeremy Brett is the definitive Sherlock Holmes. All the others pale by comparison.

Just finished Dirty Business and just have to agree with what posters have said. We, Mrs Mute and I, were in absolute disbelief that something like this can go on and nothing gets done about it.
To repeat what others have said, if you’ve not watched this make an effort to do so. It certainly got my blood boiling and the more publicity it gets, just like the Post Office scandal, the more individuals will learn how these organisations are being run.
Excellent series.

Its bloody disgrace Mute, a bill for over a grand a year has dropped through my letter box, within accompanying letter saying how great they are, no mention of how many times they have been fined for dumping shite into our rivers and seas. And have you seen how much the CEOs are earning. And like the PO scandal absolutely no one will be held accountable, and if one the rare occasion someone does get the chop, they'll pop up in another highly paid job somewhere else. Disgusting.🤬

Reading up Jeremy Brett had his own personsal demons whist filming was ongoing .
Hence his gaunt apperances on screen .

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle always wanted Sherlock Holmes to come across as a dark and mysterious character in his writings .

Reruns of Jeremy Brett in the role are now cast aside to the daytime fillers on ITV4 .
