Nah I’ve seen both. One has mystery, clever dialogue, and a bit of dark humor. The other is Young Sherlock. Which has about as much to do with Sherlock Holmes as The Sweeney.
Isn't this Young Sherlock thing the latest from Guy Ritchie?
 
Yes I believe he directed the first couple of episodes. It’s entertaining enough nonsense.
I find a lot of his stuff is exactly the same. Just like watching lock stock and two smoking barrels over and over, just with different characters.
 
Benedict Cumberbatch and Jeremy Brett brought Sherlock Holmes to a new level of tele viewing .

I do go back to narrations online of the original Sir Arthur Conan Doyle storytelling .

I really did enjoy the Sherlock BBC screenings , I did even buy the box set and still watch on occasions on a dreary tele night .
