• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Players we've hated but perhaps admired as well.

I thought that was Holt.
You could be right but can’t find any record of Holt being sent off against us - scored plenty of goals against us though

Parkin was sent off for Macclesfield against us but it was for a tackle on Izzy Iriekpen - probably Trunds was the one who wound him up !

Darren Way - admired while still at Yeovil; hated upon due to his unfortunate move here.

Robbie Savage.
Not for his (meagre) football skills, but for the way he used to try to wind up the East Stand faithful pre match, by coming over and pretending to warm up, touching his toes with his back to the crowd, but really sticking his arse out and saying "kiss that" 😉

I was just trying to think of the name of that valleys scroat who played in the same Yeovil team and used to wind us up. Was there such a player or am I hallucinating?

Gavin Williams - Yeovil
Darren Byfield - Gillingham?
Peter Jackson - Huddersfield Manager
Richie Wellens - Doncaster
Freddy Eastwood - Southend

Always played well against us and all seemed to hate us
