A bit too similar to Cabango for an ideal 2nd tier pairing, but I’m probably in the minority (judging by comments on here and conversations in the ground) in being happy with him as a centre half at this level for the next few years - even as a top 6/8 team. Even when he wasn’t playing well...

Tbf I’d imagine all 8 games will have TV slots based on the last couple of years, it’s just a case of what day they end up playing.

For the fans 100% I guess Sky’s preference is the usual Friday night slot but as BBC and TNT have the FA Cup rights they can’t guarantee when Wrexham’s game will be scheduled the weekend before. Not that I agree, it’s ridiculous that people can’t start booking travel/accommodation or arrange...

We may still end up with the top 8 ranked sides qualifying but this is the best format I've seen for a T20/ODI tournament for a long time (not that the times have been conducive to watching much of it during the week sadly!)

I'm in that camp as well. Sensible use of time and resources if manager, player and club are all happy with the nee contract.

Wouldn’t want him playing more than a handful of league games based on his past form, but no issues with him as a back up. One less position to think about in the summer - which in reality would only be a like for like replacement.

Doubtful. If you stay in League A you’re pretty much guaranteed to be in pot 1 for the Euro and World Cup qualifiers. Although there’s talk of the qualification process being altered from 2030 so who knows by then!
