    Vipotnik Goals

Yeah but those numbers show that it's not odd to have the top scorer in the league scoring a high percentage of their teams goals. Nearly 60% of our other goals have come from other players. If you look at the goals from when Matos took over Vips contribution's are less at 37.5% of the goals...

    Vipotnik Goals

I keep seeing the same complaints that too many of our goals are coming from Vipotnik. He has scored 16 of our 39 goals which is 41%. I checked a few other top scorers in other leagues to see if that was high or not. Looking at Haaland he’s scored 39% of City’s goals. Kane has scored 32.9% of...

    Play offs..

That is just how football is, the majority of attacks don’t end in goals for every team. If they did we’d end up with scorelines that look like rugby matches. It’s not an issue unique to us.

    Play offs..

Yeah I do get that it probably is a bit of a concern. I think right now with Vipotnik on fire we are playing around that and looking to get the ball to him as much as much as possible as a game plan though.

    Play offs..

The stats and facts don’t support that statement. Yes we did have a goals issue before. And sure more goals are always nice. But if you’re conceding two goals, not scoring enough isn’t the issue, conceding goals is.

That and stealing 10 yards for every throw in. It should be the easiest thing in football to enforce.

    Play offs..

People keep saying that our biggest problem right now is the lack of goals. But it’s not that much of an issue since Matos took over. Both our xg and avarage goals per match is around 1.5 that would put us in top 6 territory. The form table since Matos took over puts us in top 6 territory. We...

I mean if didn’t know who he is you’re likely not in the demographic that the club are trying to encourage to get down to the stadium. This is an opportunity to bring in new young people who could potentially become lifelong fans. And it’s excellent for the future of the club.

    Play offs..

Probably not too much imo. I mean it's a given for most teams that the away results aren't as good as at home and teams can't win every game. We've had a few games where we were unlucky to lose, and games were we should have been better. But I think what we're seeing right now under Matos is a...

Does it matter how we’ve got to a sell out stadium? It’s still a massive achievement, and it will be brilliant to see such a big home crowd again. The atmosphere was awesome for the Wrexham game and it gave us a spike in attendance afterwards. Hopefully the game tomorrow does something similar.

Like Matos said in one of his press conferences “There’s no tax on dreaming”. That said it’s an extremely tough ask and I won’t be disappointed in not making it. I’m already over the moon with how much we’ve improved and how fun we’ve been to watch at home.

Out of 51. 45 if you ignore his first 2 games where he’d been there a day and 4 days total. Which is probably fair.

Yeah it’s maddening we’ve had excellent form since December and been stuck around 15th for so long. Or away results have been lacking though. If we could just get a few more points away we’d be right in the mix

Excellent win! Scrappy performance but I think we just edged it. Getting a result when you’re not at your best is what gets teams in the playoffs. Really great to see.
