How have I lost the argument? Managers sign players they know, always have, always will. We weren’t struggling in the championship, and O’Dea wasn’t sacked for months after, you are losing the plot.

Good example! Russ 100% signed Fisher and Darling, straight from his MK days. That was 3m in total and probably half our kitty that year. No idea about Vigouroux.

I didn’t criticise it, I said it didn’t work. I see the logic in the signing and appeared to be a reasonable punt. A signing not working is par for the course in every club, it’s the nature of football transfers. He got sent back and shipped out to Israel.

You have no idea how much he cost. If you want to write to the club and tell them that they should stop management teams from signing players they know then go for it, but I doubt you will get much joy. It’s always happened and will always happen.

Amazing how many cages get rattled by being supportive of the club. It does lay it bare just how many people we have that are desperate to cause unrest, some for quite different reasons than others..

We have the luxury of spending what we are able to also. It’s all relative. It’s not going to change even if you don’t agree.
