Some questions after tonight's game ...

I’m shocked at how bad Wrexham were. I watched Cardiff batter them the other week but they were even worse last night. Thought Portsmouth and Oxford offered a lot more.

Some questions after tonight's game ...

Stamenic and Galbraith looked a class above the rest of our team. Galbraith seems to be the only player we have who’s effective at moving with the football.

It was a stinking game and some of our players are going to put me up the Coed. Great atmosphere though and over the moon that our new manager wants us to get that ball forward.

    Vipi

Vip is right up there in the goal scorers charts, above some big money names playing in far better teams, he’s managed this playing with a winger who hasn’t put a cross into the box since Halloween and a no 10 who you only realise is playing when he gets subbed. He’s only just getting started...

What tap ins? We’ve putting the ball into our own box more than the opposition’s.

Brilliant, we’ve finally got a manager who wants to give him more than 8 touches a game and he could be off! Dreadful news

    Josh Key

I like Key and really want him to get through this bad spell. You can see he’s struggling with hesitation and doubt, having a non winger in front of him isn’t helping, as there’s no link up play or connection there.

What have the touches in the opposition box during the last 2 games been like, compared to the worst in the league under Sheehan? Cheers

In the last 2 games, Galbraith has made a massive difference at RB, Tymon, Stamenic, Widdell and especially Eom have all upped their game. We’re getting the ball into the opposition box, the body language has improved, the mood in the stadium has improved. Good start Vitor

If the parking and footfall around Hafod Park and Pentrehafod is anything to go by, we’re in for a bumper crowd this evening.

World Cup 2026 - A General Thread (Includes ‘Hydration’ Break Discussion)

Most tournaments just pass me by which is weird because even though I’m not an egg fan, I get totally immersed in the Rugby World Cups. I googled “when is the Qatar World Cup?” A few days ago, erased from memory already.

Much better!! We were trying to make those quick connections in the right areas of the pitch. Still not great and Oxford were shit, but much better. 2 new wingers in January and we’ll be alright.

The flanks make up a significant part of the pitch. Under Martin, I honestly believe if we could have strengthened there (Ogbene), we would have been in the play offs. Since the Duff era, the flanks have become our downfall. Almost zero productivity and a real weak point, ripe for targeting.

Well I listened to the first half and in my head I was in Laudrup land. Watched the second half and it was like watching us away at Portsmouth last year. Ffs mun

He’s a very clever player, the runs he makes allow his team mates the freedom to play shit
