S25/26 | The Official Match Thread | Swansea City 1 Portsmouth 0 | Att: 18,163 | 09/12/25 | The EFL Championship | The Swansea.com Stadium

In the last 2 games, Galbraith has made a massive difference at RB, Tymon, Stamenic, Widdell and especially Eom have all upped their game.
We’re getting the ball into the opposition box, the body language has improved, the mood in the stadium has improved.
Good start Vitor
the touches into the opposition boxes hasn't changed tbh it's just finishing

Well done to Matos, we have a bit of breathing space now and maybe a little confidence. It was a classic game (neither was Oxford) but that does not matter, we won them both.

The manager now has another 90mins of film to study and review and is make slow and steady progress (long may it continue).

Now if you're reading this Victor a couple of things I saw that might be worth considering.

- Idah is poor, Vipotnik is great but he offers much more than Idah. Vipotnik cause much more problems than Idah and can strike the ball, whereas Idah !!!

- Cullen whilst he scored a great goal today was otherwise gash. Widdell looked much more promising and I would persist with him and hopefully the goals and assists will come.

- Stamenic is settling into his role now and I hope this continues and brings some solace for him during this difficult personal time for him.

- We need Galbraith back in midfield, but not with Key at RB, use Casey until January and get a new RB lined up for the second the window opens.

Onwards and upwards in the hope this isn't just a new manager bounce

The only important thing this week was turning the tide of 5 straight defeats.

We’ve won twice in three days.

Job done.

Second half was messy, but looked pretty solid at the back.

Great strike from Cullen. A couple of glimpses from Inoussa. Yalcouye looked poor.

Definitely better since Galbraith moved to right back.

Few more days again to work on things.

We need a few in the window though. And a few out.
Very true LL.

beat 2 poor side with ease lol, only because it builds more confidence and shows we can take on anyone
I see you struggle with life generally, because you need to witness failure and it helps you to stop feeling badly about yourself, as in some things are worse than your own sad life. Never mind, life will be over for you eventually, so no more worries. 🙄

***Post Match.. Via Swans TV.. Leaving there stream on... Exclusive 🤣🤣🤣. Matos is happy with the press we showed and the interviewer said she liked his jacket at end of the interview... 🤣🤣 no lie.
