I disagree, Matos is utlising the squad at his disposal and is doing what he should playing the players he thinks can do a the job required in the moment. He will play them when he thinks the time is right. It's more worrying for Widdell (I think Walta is being introduced bit by bit) who seems...

I don't think they will. If the table finished as it currently is Ipswich would be the likely playoff winners and I also think Millwall would out muscle and out fight Wrexham. I think Coventry, Boro and Ipswich will go up this season and outside of those 3 it would be Southampton for me

Widdell isn't being used correctly at the moment, he was looking promising when played centrally and is less effective when wider. I like Widdell and his energy can set a good tempo, I would like to see Galbraith, Franco and Widdell as the 3 starters in midfield.

Look at the difference between the EOM and theirs when each team had a free kick in a similar position. Very poor from Swansea tonight with the final ball

Clearly the ref was handed the script from Sky and it didn't include Swansea getting a penalty

Burgess shouldn't have been attempting that tackle, Key should have been on Broadhead and then if Broadhead beats his man there is cover from the CB, which actually should have been Cabango but the defense was at sixes and sevens (admititley because Burgess was poor in the build up)

Agree the attack is a major worry, there isn't enough (any ?!) goal threat from our wide players and the midfielders are just too deep and don't really offer a goal threat. Somehow need to get a true attacking midfield in and around the CF (can Walta do this?) or maybe actually play with 2 x CF's

I think he's done OK, maybe faded a little since the goal but he's done enough to perserve with.

The defence lacks agility (and pace) in the centre and FB's while good going forward lack positional awareness when defendng (Key more so than Tymon). And the fact there is very little competition for places in defence isn't great either.

Not just the CB's the whole defence, Key actually left the goalscorer to go out wide to a player not involved in the play. Despite Key's marked improvement, his defending still leaves a lot to be desired.

Hope we give them a tonking, if for nothing else to stop Sky Sports losing their jizzle over Wrexham for a few moments. Oh and the little matter of being just 2 points from the playoffs.

    Wrecsam v Chelsea

The 1981 FA Cup final is the first one I watched and Hutchinson scored for both Man City and Spurs, the replay was fantastic with the Ricky Villa goal. Oh how they have ruined the FA Cup, the two major things are scrapping replays and teams playing their reserve players. Also the semi's...

I think that team would beat forward but for Ronald's lack of crossing ability.

    Josh Key

Didn't catch the game yesterday and I have been Key's biggest critic, but it's good to hear he had a good performance. It seems like Matos really can coach and is improving players and long may it continue. Can he work on Ronald now !!

    Spurs facing a Relegation battle.

Spurs are a funny side, looking at the players they should be nowhere near the position they are in, however deleve a bit deeper and you can see why. Solanke and Richarlison are prolific or regular goalscorers with neither likely to get you 10 goals a season. Romero is a basket case and a Red...

    Ronald

Ronald has been OK for us since he arrived and that's the problem. How far is OK going to take us? We need to upgrade players that have just been OK. In this category I would include Burgess, Cabango, Cullen, Key (though I don't think he's been OK more like poor this season), EOM (though I...

Interesting, I see a real player in Walta. I think he looks to be a good technically skillful player. My concern is that he is very slight. Needs time to adapt (like Welker needed).
