I priced getting to Hereford and back by train, extortionate ticket costs. A day trip just about possible, but exposed to risk of cancellation of last train home. An overnighter was no cheaper.

I'm with you there Skip. Swap the salmon for chicken tikka or tandoori chicken and that would be a massive upgrade.

Good on it, go with what you like. Has been a hectic year so we've not had a curry Sunday for a good few months, will have to get that fixed in November.

I've never really spent much time in Hereford. What's the deal, Max, is it ripe for an afternoon out, evening meal and stay over?

I seem to remember you having this before, and I think I said that salmon should be nowhere near a curry. The bhaji on the other hand looks very good and recovers things.

So near and yet so far, Sham. One heck of a final play to tie the game in regular time, but couldn't get it over the line in OT.

The old sea bunny lives a bit of a charmed life. I’d have put money on the moray eel taking it down.

They should tell you that as of start of tax year 2027/28 unused pension pots will be included in a persons estate for IHT purposes. If you get told something which sounds different then let me know.

Kemi Badenoch wins Conservative Party leadership contest ...

I’m not disagreeing with you. Much of the noise is coming from the traditional Tory supporting press and media.

These subs defo need some work. It all seems a little bit premeditated, and the plan flows regardless of the actual match position.

Shitshow is a little strong, but the first few months haven’t been plain sailing. The controversies surrounding gifts have tainted reputations and the scrapping of winter fuel allowance alienated more than they perhaps expected. Shitshow? Absolutely not.

Our team is built around the pair of them. Grimes has proven himself across 90 mins, game after game, week after week, month after month. We’ve also got a game on Tuesday so it should be no surprise to see Franco pulled early today, especially as he rarely does ninety.

Franco further forward was one of the options I wanted to see tried. Sounds like it worked well today.

I think Starmer was purposely central on the Brexit topic and not wanting to be seen to swing too far in either direction. However in the background he will firmly have eyes on a new EU trade deal which I think can come as soon as 2026. Until then stand by for a lot of of the usual sound bites...

And there lies another part of the problem; the growth forecasts don’t look as good as they need to.
