“They’re all the same”

No. I’m simply stating that the NI changes don’t impact those size businesses. Feel free to correct me but that’s how I understand it.

The increase in NI affects all businesses.

The so called sweetener is an increase in the Emplomemt Allowance for small businesses, but this only applies to companies where all employees earn less than the NI secondary threshold which is £175 per week.

Don't believe the hyperbolic spin - this is a tax on business and a tax raid on workers who pay into private pensions and then pass away.

Fair enough, I’ll look into it a bit more.

I pay a fair amount into a private pension which obviously affects the household budget, but I done so to give us benefit in the future years and if I go the Mrs can benefit, got a call coming tomorrow off my pension provider tomorrow and I'll be asking the question.

They should tell you that as of start of tax year 2027/28 unused pension pots will be included in a persons estate for IHT purposes. If you get told something which sounds different then let me know.
