    I think that would kill the atmosphere further. When you've got a half decent away following, the banter and chants back and forth with the East stand is the only thing that keeps it going. When the away fans are shifted over towards the West the atmosphere is dead.

    Wales did what you describe in your last paragraph under Coleman. We often just had training camps. The system has changed now so that you must arrange a friendly during the international windows when you don't have a qualifier / nations league game. I would like to see a truly FA cup style...
