New Manager

Onto the news regards Sheehan.

I think it was obvious this would happen in reality and probably the best thing under the circumstances we find ourselves in.

No decent manager would touch us in the position we find ourselves in. Wait until the end of the season and make sure we stay in this league.....new manager can then start with a clean slate and hopefully sort the shiite out a little.

In reality why would a manager not touch us now but would in the summer?

Us being unattractive has nothing to do with our league position, I'd wager.

That was the only real option though!

I don't think a decent manager would want to take the risk of having a relegation on their CV?

Do we think the board are competent enough to hire a manager when Sheehans stint at the end of the season ends? You know considering they would have had 5 months searching by that point…

They wouldn't touch us now as we are 6 points off the drop with a chance that we would go down.

The summer would see a clean slate and most managers would back themselves and some would jump at the chance to manage in the 2nd tier of the English league.

Despite being a shiite show, we are still an attractive proposition in the grand scheme of things. We will have more room to manoeuvre with wages and have a bit of money to play with....hopefully Leeds get promoted and a million or so added to the pot.

It's not all doom and gloom but the guys at the top need to pull their fingers out as a starter.

Just got to step in here quickly especially when you make the claim about belittling people.

Why did you bring me into the conversation?
I'm thick skinned but surely that's a form of belittling!? Practice what you preach hey.
100% you ARE Lisa

So many similarities - twisted perspective, tone, language, marginal-peripheral - and ofc Syntax, the proper dna tell-tale

Calm down Lisa'sDaps

The guys at the top clearly have far more than their fingers out right now, for a starter.

The short-medium term plan and long-term solution is in play........

You really ought to pay attention to proper ITKs like the proper Magic-Man - The OP...........

One thought, he wants to bring in 2 coaches which is understandable.
As a club though, if, and it is if he is not long term would the club employ extra staff where a new coach might want his own people.
Again if he can bring in 2 are they available as the clock is ticking to the end of the season.
Exactly. He doesn't need new staff until next season, when the new manager brings his own team in. The club can't afford to throw away money like that. And we're already safe.

Imo no manager worth their salt is thinking we won't get the 6 or 7 points, maximum, to stay up.

We absolutely aren't an attractive proposition. Hell of a lot of work to do in the summer, off field issues, etc

I don't think a decent manager would think they'd lose pretty much every game between now and the end of the season.

Even something terrible like 5 points from 8 games would suffice.

It really doesn't matter if someone is in the know or not to highlight the issues at the club.
Stating the guys at the top have their fingers out right now isn't really reassuring one bit.

Your like the mini me of the owners.......yap, yap, yap, yap, yap, yap, yap, yap, yap=Bollocks!
I get you have a direct line to someone and you are showing your loyalty.......I would just buy a dog personally plus I would get the bonus of it being alot more intelligent than you.

You being their mouthpiece on here is doing them no favours.

I’m hoping it’s more of a case of someone we want permanently has said they will come in the summer providing we stay up, and Sheehan uses this as a platform to show his skills off for potential new employers at the end of the season.

Not going to be worth the risk though. They can sit it out knowing that Sheehans probably got to job until the end of season. Unless we're prepared to pay some sort of survival bonus.
