    Tune For Today

Seeing in bands in those days was a tad different. Saw 10cc there in 73/74 with about 600 people all sitting on the floor cross legged so as to pack in as many as possible. Didn't hurt or ache then if I I tried to do that today I'd be in the queue at A&E.

    Tune For Today

One of my favourite lines in any song. ''The world is a bad place. A terrible place to live. But I don't want to die.'' In fact the whole lyrics of the song are superb.

    Wales vs Turkey 7.45pm Friday

Didn't see the game browsed the last three pages of this thread and all seem impressed. I was expecting a Bellamy bashing from a few.

Does Liam Cullen deserve a new contract?

He like most strikers thrive on service. We appear to be too eager to play keep ball as opposed to getting the ball forward to supply our strikers. Our top scorer last year had 8 goals. Will anyone surpass that this year? Perhaps if we get 9 penalties. If I was him I'd be looking for pastures...

    Sol Bamba

Tragic news. Hadn't realised he was ill. RIP Sol.

Luke Williams ahead of West Brom | Press Conference

I'm still hopeful that LW has something more to offer but I'm far from convinced. I'm struggling to see him motivating this team or giving them the proverbial kick up the arse that some need. At the moment it's just possession with no purpose. I'm sure we've been here before.

    70s Clubbers.

Watching Youtube last night a flashback to the 70s brands for the man about town. Top aftershave's as they were in the day mentioned Brut 33 , Hai Karate and Old spice. I was a Brut boy myself. Some of my mates used Aramis which they told me had more pulling power. What did you guys of a...

Can't see any change to the starting line-up unless enforced.

    Jimmy McLaughlin RIP ...

RIP Jimmy. I only remember him from his 70s return with the north bank singing his name to jimmy mac the Martha Reeves song of the same name. Don't know why when I remember Jimmy I also think of Pat Lally.

Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Middlesbrough FC vs Swansea City | The EFL Championship

I've switched to Sky Sports news. How have Swansea responded Tim (Sherwood) What have they done? answer ''nothing if they continue to play this way against Boro. They'll get hammered''. Pretty much what I thought.

    Optimistic?

I think we may have a season of shipping goals. I'm not really confident of us being solid at the back.

Will Swans fight against Sheffield United and Blackburn for favourite?

To develop he needs to play weekly. He did that last year. So would it be who pays all or the majority of his wages or who's gonna play him as their No1? We have a chance if we are definitely in for him.

    19th

Where will we finish? I wouldn't bet on any finish apart from outside the top 6. Our new signings could be good but apart from the Keeper they've not played over here. I remember being optimistic last year with all our signings. That soon went out the window. Mid table, enjoying the game and no...

WE COME FROM THE LAND WHERE THE GRASS IS GREEN

I'm a Bow legged chicken I'm a knock kneed hen. (Knicked from the Kop at Anfield) For those of an age. However I must admit Herbie Ooh Ooh is older.
