    Derby v Preston

They've won 4 in a row now, scoring 9 goals in the process. We can't afford to be complacent and take them lightly, they'd only be 1 point behind us if they were to win on Saturday

    The Swansea Way?

Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Swansea City 1 Derby County 0 | Att: 16,501 | The EFL Championship

That's assuming they lose to Preston on Wednesday. Alternatively (glass half empty view), they could beat Preston and only be 4 points behind us going into Saturday's game

    Cardiff City Relegation Party. #findyourlevel

They were doing well until we beat them at the end of February. Since then, they've drawn with Norwich and lost to Derby, Stoke, Cardiff and Portsmouth

    2023/24 Financial Statements

Especially when the whole idea behind PSR is for clubs to be sustainable and not reliant on owners, it's impossible unless wages are massively reduced across the board

Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Leeds United 2 Swansea City 2 | Att: 35,574 (784 Away) | The EFL Championship

5 at the back, 3 defensive midfielders and then Ronald playing behind Cullen? 😳😂

    Yesterday’s non penalty

He didn't jump, his feet never left the ground. He somehow contorted his body to make himself as small as possible but still managed to handball it

    Yesterday’s non penalty

Not really, Grimes had his hand up above his head (despite still having both feet on the ground) so it wasn't in a natural position. Their defender's arm was by his side, where you'd expect it to be given his body position and the ball hit his hand

Liverpool vs Newcastle League Cup Final

Delighted with the result, not the best week for Liverpool :ROFLMAO:

It Could Be Worse! We Could Have Jim Ratcliffe - Man Utd!

Exactly. The problem is that they're still majority shareholders so, if Ratcliffe manages to improve the club and increase its value, all he's doing is making it more expensive for him to buy more equity in the club. The Glazers pulled a blinder of a business deal, they've made hundreds of...

    Cardiff City Relegation Party. #findyourlevel

Do you actually want them to go down though? As it is, we have one home game a season where we get a full house and a good atmosphere. If you're happy with the obsession that's fine, it's the hypocrisy that gets me when it comes back the other way

    Cardiff City Relegation Party. #findyourlevel

They're discussed and thought about far too much though, the same as on the supporters page on Facebook. Then there'll be a comment made about us by one of them and it'll be met with the usual comments of "look how obsessed they are with us!"

    Cardiff City Relegation Party. #findyourlevel

I did only look back over the last few pages to be fair so I didn't read the OP. We're almost certainly safe now, there are too many other teams between us and the bottom 3 for us to be dragged into it

Why do we need another (8 page!) thread on Cardiff? 🤦‍♂️

It Could Be Worse! We Could Have Jim Ratcliffe - Man Utd!

United employed about 400 more staff than any other Premier League club, the workforce was bloated and needed to be streamlined to reduce costs on that side of the business. The fault lies with those who allowed the costs to spiral, not with those who are having to bring them back into line...

Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Swansea City 1 Middlesbrough FC 0 | Att: 13,986 | The EFL Championship

When he had his successful loan period terminated prematurely so the club could sell him, only for him to be left here with Martin hardly playing him?

The guy was really badly handled by the club, through no fault of his own. "Once a Jack, always a Jack" 🙄

    Rio Ferdinand

To be fair, he's a Cardiff fan who was born and bred in Cardiff. It's hardly a surprise he doesn't like us
