All of our wingers are shit. Not one capable of taking on and beating his man. Oh for Nathan Dyer…

Luke Williams on Cardiff City | Reaction

If the occasion got to the players, they’re a load of bottle jobs. Payed thousands a week to put a shower of a performance in like that. At least Russ got the Derby and what it meant to us fans

    Anyone at the game

Was there . They had pellters and rightly so, the useless bunch of c@nts. Cardiff wanted it more, end of

    Confident for today..?

If both centre backs are fit, man for man were better than them. Just play the game, not the occasion. I’m going for a 2-1 win for us.

    Playing out from the back

90+ minutes on the clock, 2-1 down chasing an equaliser, yet the keeper decides to play short to a defender. Wtf is wrong with these coaches? The game has gone backwards massively. Yes, technically players are faster and fitter than they were back in the day(80s/90s for me). Can you imagine us...

    Scum v Watford

Sleeping?? They’ve been in a coma since 1927 ‘mun’!

    Matt Grimes

Said it before, when the chips are down Matty goes into hiding. No encouraging or cajoling his team mates when under the cosh. He just isn’t captain material. Decent footballer on his(very infrequent) day.

    Cabango and Darling Injuries

The redshite will be rubbing their hands at the thought of Cabango and Darling not playing. If they can’t beat us with a makeshift pairing, they really are more shite than they currently are

    The Fish

Watching Mclaughlins performance today, Fisher wasn’t this bad.

    The Fish

Don’t get this hate for fisher myself. He wasn’t helped by calamitous defending at times from all of the back four in front of him. I wish him well

    Old Stadium thread

What these old stadiums show is character. They were easily identifiable. Wolves had the big massive south bank for example. Exeter had trees behind an open away end. Even our vetch had the prison behind the south stand

    Favourite kick off time

There was something special about Friday nights down the Vetch. 7.30pm kick offs too. We’d always get decent crowds even in the lower leagues.

    The Fish

That’s him. I’ve just looked at his Wikipedia. I didn’t realise he had an extensive professional career playing in the football league for Newport, Hereford and Cardiff. Going by that performance in the semi, it’s no wonder he was lower league!

    The Fish

In terms of Sean’s keepers we had Peter Guthrie after Mike Hughes was forced to retire. He was gash. Then there was a keeper who played for Watford in their 87 semi v spurs I think. He was like a Sunday league keeper if I remember correctly.

    Cardiff tickets..

Problem is. We’ve got Richard Heads on both sides. Lifting the restriction would be a big risk IMHO as innocents from both sides not looking for bother could be on the end of a hiding

    Luton

The way pompey finished us off, they won’t go. Though admittedly we were shiiiiiiiiite on the day. Cardiff, Stoke and Plymouth

Anyone know when they’re going on sale?

    Harry Darling and Luke Williams

H had a good game yesterday. Put his body on the line, and made some last ditch tackles, one especially after Key lost the ball in the middle of the park. He also chips in with a few and is a nuisance in the oppositions box. He’s come on massively in the last year and a half. It wouldn’t be...

    Vipotnik , Bianchini & Eom

The game has moved on leaps and bounds since we had Scotland in that Martinez side. He had midfielders around him who could play the ball to feet and then run off him. I’d hate to be a striker in this current Swans side. The football is so pedestal, all the striker seems to do is shuffle left to...

    Vipotnik , Bianchini & Eom

He’s too lightweight for my liking. One thing they need to work on with him in the summer is upper body strength. And how to protect the ball from the defender.
