    Get the Yankee out

The other way to look at it is that if we get some people in to help run the club who know what they’re doing, their wages will be paid several times over when we don’t have to let players go on a free, don’t haemorrhage fans, don’t spend £millions on manager payoffs each season.

    Get the Yankee out

You’re letting him off way too easily in my opinion. He’s been with us about 20 weeks short of two years, and as a significantly large shareholder until the takeover. The press release at the time says it all. It’s worth a read back as a reminder of what they were supposedly going to do...

    Get the Yankee out

It was a shocking sale by the last lot. It doesn’t seem as though they put any effort or worried about any due diligence to find us a decent owner. It landed in their laps. It was obvious at the time that it was going to be more of the same. It doesn’t have to be like this, and it the...

    Swansea crave end to crisis

“How can a club change their director of football and head coach days after the January transfer window has shut? How can that same club sell their captain, a midfield stalwart, late in the window and fail to replace him?” Good questions, but easily answered. We’ve got a clueless idiot making...

Who Goes in The Summer? Who Stays? Players.

Genuinely? I can’t think of anyone who I’d want to keep to build a team round. Cabango, Franco and probably Vigeroux could be good options in a team challenging at the top end as long as they’ve better players around them. It’s the weakest squad we’ve had for, what, 20 years?

    Trump and Serious Criminals

How are you feeling about him now?

    Trump 2.0

100% agree, but the moderate centre isn’t very good at rallying. We’re too busy taking Jemima to dance class or sourcing free trade, organic single source arabica beans for our new bean to cup coffee machines. You’re not wrong though. I just hope that Musk’s cuts come back to bite him and Trump...

Swansea City appoint new chief operating officer

Innit. And our strategic direction has been so good 🤣. He’s meant to be a comms expert and our comms had been shit too. Utterly fkn pointless. At least this appointment is someone with a bit of relevant experience. If it gets the likes of Coleman and Gude further away from the team, all the better.

    Trump 2.0

If it was the old site, good luck with that! I bet several on there have got little stiffies at the thought of Trump and his UK lapdog Farage snuggling up to Putin. Interesting times indeed.

    Trust Statement – Luke Williams

They can put you down as a maybe then? 😂 I didn’t get past “The Trust notes the announcement”. Maybe that’s just badly written, but if they’re not in the loop what’s the point of them?

    New Manager

Christ on a bike. He was awful with a far better squad than we have now. With no Captain Marvel, no Piroe and a dodgy defence can you imagine what that would be like? We’d never cross half way.

    New Manager

That’s good news. The early favourites never get the job. Just fools with no imagination being parted from their money.

    I've heard

I’d love to know why they’ve bought us. I can’t for the life of me work out what they’re in it for. The training grounds must be the biggest assets by far, they’re financially challenged (£20million lol), and incompetent so will only lose money and devalue the club.

    Monk

Ah, but Coleman would need to get Lexy’s approval, so we’re probably safe 🤣

The whole squad thrown under the bus

You can see that he’s learnt from Russell Martin

    Matt Grimes

Yeah, it is time to move on. As long as those people who thought he was the main reason we weren’t an attacking threat now have a long hard think and come to the conclusion they were numpties! There’s a lesson to be learnt from all of this shit. One player doesn’t define a team, for good or bad.
  17. LeonWasTheDogs

    Matt Grimes

That’s correct. Not that having Grimes was making a difference to results, as the problems with mistakes at the back and a toothless front line had nothing to do with him. But he helped give us a platform. If only we had some decent players to build on that.

    Formation

I thought it might work, but purely because he does get into positions to score but none of our other forwards do. But it’s pretty obvious it doesn’t work (was the first time we tried it). He doesn’t worry the CBs at all and pull them out of shape.

Season 24/25 | Stoke City 3 Swansea City 1 | Att: 21,256 | The Official Match Thread | The EFL Championship

100% this. Until we've got competent leadership, the rest is just re-arranging deckchairs on the Titanic. I too think it is the only option for Williams to go. Sometimes these things take on a life of their own and you just know when times up. The fans have turned, or just turned away, and the...
