I saw this game as mostly a free hit. But by the sounds of it, we’ve been really competitive. Whatever happens in the last 10 mins, that should give us hope that we’re more than good enough to not get dragged into a relegation battle.

Bar the top 3, it’s a very open league this year. Most of those play off chasers have looked very ordinary against us, and this is as crap as we’ve been for probably over 20 years.

I got an email from the club. There’s not much in it about football. It’s mostly about ‘the match day experience (excluding the match itself)’. I did point out there’s no experience without the match.

Looks like the club are trying to stop the exodus by offering cheap tickets and hospitality across the board for this one. Most expensive match tickets are £14.50 and kids for a quid. I’m not sure it’s going to be enough. Burnley was as empty as I’ve seen the place except for fringe cup games...
