    At the moment I’m watching The Hack, about the News Of The World phone hacking investigation. Unbelievable how things took so long to get going from all the lies being told until a few celebrities were brave enough to get involved. Fantastic viewing.

    No, it was the first day of the Swansea International Jazz Festival, thanks for your interest. We, at the moment, are using The Swigg and the Swansea Observatory weekly and soon in the Grand Theatre on a monthly basis.

    We used to hold Swansea Jazz Club there for quite some time and we were told that the guy with the lease couldn’t make a go of it. Our last night was September 4th and we’ve been looking for a new permanent home since.

    You don’t have to have the cage, but then the larger birds and squirrels chase away the smaller ones. I have one caged and one without. I also put seeds in to a caged feeder so the smaller birds are able to get something.

    This is a larger one (more expensive) which I have. After a few years of use the mesh has started to go slightly rusty, but still does its job. There is a cage that can be bought separately.

    Would this sort of thing be any better? The base is sloped so water would drain off and the cage would let smaller birds in and keep out intruders like squirrels hopefully.
