The have looked almost as unthreatening as us in and around the box.

He is judged to a different standard than any other player. Has been clear since the opening day that Sheehan does not fancy him.

I know. It makes people on here seem like placid Sheehan fanatics and I assume it is a much younger crowd.

The Inoussa foul was a bad one. Struck me as pure frustration at his inability to get involved in the game.

I am not as annoyed at the formation change as most on here. We have been just as bad playing 4-3-3 as we are in this formation and just as bad at attacking. I appreciate it may not be the solution either but we would be just as annoyed if he had not changed or tries something new now. Same old...

The difference a manager can make.

You are being a little bit hyperbolic again and getting ahead of yourself. I have been positive about Inoussa and his potential to grow into an impactful player in this league but I also have been balanced. I want him to play every minute he is fit and after Galbraith he is the player who I...

    Our League form

Who will be in charge of a new manager search? I do not know Bristol Rovers manager history. Did anybody who was there go on to big success who may still have links to Gorringe and come into the picture?

Tom Gorringe - The Business of Sport

I think he answered it in a slightly confusing way. "Rich was recruited under the previous ownership and the club model had changed through that period of transition. The chairman left and the way we operated changed significantly at that time." He seemed to be linking Coleman and Montague so...

Tom Gorringe - The Business of Sport

The new owners seem very positive and I think long term will be great for us. When new owners do come in there is often a lot of change for the first couple of years as they tweak things to get it right especially if they are coming from outside football and have not got much experience of the...

The difference a manager can make.

People keep saying this about Yalcouye but he has not shown anything of this so far. Is it just because he came from Brighton because he has not show much in our shirt. He is much more like a hard working out of possession player that Sheehan likes than somebody who will fix our creative...

The difference a manager can make.

This is a well made point. I think there is a middle ground that people need to accept. The squad is not as good as some people thought it might be and the coach is also not as good as some people thought he might be. The squad is also not as bad as some people think it might be and neither is...

No, not in itself. Vig is an International and he is also amazing but the two are not mutually exclusive. Cullen is an International for a team around the same level as Chile and whenever he makes the starting line up everybody on here moans. A few people have made comments about how we have...

I would say Sheehan will be get at least 3 or 4 more games, unless they're all losses, but Gorringe was not going to do an interview and give anything other than praise for the current head coach. That would have been extremely unprofessional.

One reason to keep Sheehan for a while longer is to make sure they get the right person. He is a good man who will not take us down. I worry about who would be picking the new manager and if Gorringe would need some support on that. I am sure behind the scenes the last 6 weeks will have started...

We are good between both boxes. If we were just okay in their box, then it would be tolerable and you could keep some faith but we are so bad at breaking teams down and after 14 games I would not say we have had a good attacking half yet let alone a good attacking 90 minutes.

Every team has lots of new players though. For example, 5 of Preston's front 6 were new players this season. We are not going to be the finished article this early and players do need to gel but you would expect to see more green shoots by now.
