    Less entitlement and more encouragement

I would guess they are looking at the whole picture, including his overall performance as Swansea manager in his 30 odd games. His points accumulated must be very high.

    Less entitlement and more encouragement

The league is better this year, you can tell by the amount spent elsewhere. Two of the three clubs coming up from League One both have greater spending power than most of the league, that’s never happened before. Whilst the club has spent money this summer it’s only to play catchup. We had one...

    Widell

Yalcouye only on loan until January? Where did you read this?

    Less entitlement and more encouragement

Depends what people view mid table as. I think top 10 this season and pushing for playoffs next season would be the expectation. This year was always going to be about integrating such a high player turnover for me.

    Widell

Yalcouye has been very good, he’s 19 years old so isn’t going to be playing every single 90 mins, it’s like he starts every other game. I would have started him against Leicester but he obviously wanted to get the messaging right and reward Cullen for his recent goal and assist off the bench.

    Stamenic

Stamenic is fantastic in my view, but hasn’t quite looked at it since his injury. I do wonder if he’s still feeling the effects of that. I’m shocked people are talking about him as if he’s just muscle in the middle. He’s technically excellent, his issue of late is he hasn’t been sensing pressure...

    Less entitlement and more encouragement

Social media age. People either want to be happy or outraged, no middle ground.

    Less entitlement and more encouragement

Really don’t know what people are expecting. We have no right to control or dominate games at this level, not realistic.

    Another gutless performance

Surely you know that the manager will know exactly who can and can’t shoot from range after seeing them daily? Franco, Ronald and Inoussa aren’t long range shooters, neither is Cullen.

    Another gutless performance

Only Vipotnik is capable from range really. Galbraith, but he was rested for most of it. I suppose the argument is we are more effective closer range so better to try and work the ball into the box than strike from range, as Cabango showed in the 97th min.

    Another gutless performance

Both had 7 shots on target and we amassed more xG. Considering their squad is worth treble ours, I thought we did extremely well. Leicester are a top side who I expect to be in the Premier League next season.

    S25/26 | The Official Match Thread | Swansea City 1 Leicester City 3 | Att: 16,601 | Saturday 4th Oct | The EFL Championship | The Swansea.com Stadium

“2 points ahead of 18th” is a strange way to say “11th”, which is the placing. We are also 3 points behind 5th. Mid table due to mid table like results. The reason no sensible person is concerned is because 11th is a fine placing for this time of the season, striking distance of playoffs and we...

    Another gutless performance

Leicester and Coventry are the two best teams in the league.

    Russell Martin

Worst manager we have had for a long time, but kept falling upwards.

    S25/26 | The Official Match Thread | Blackburn Rovers 1 Swansea City 2 | Attendance: 11,013 (372 away) | Tues 30th Sept | The EFL Championship

I don’t get the argument the midfielders are the same. Galbraith is a tempo controller with insane weight of pass. Stamenic is a physical defensive midfielder suited to the deep role. Franco is a ball winning 8 that makes his way into the box. Yalcouye is an 8 that drives the ball forward...

    S25/26 | The Official Match Thread | Blackburn Rovers 1 Swansea City 2 | Attendance: 11,013 (372 away) | Tues 30th Sept | The EFL Championship

Performance is too much of an excuse to not get results. Luke Williams and Russell Martin both used to hide behind “performance” to hide abject failure. No hiding behind results over a large sample, and he’s now been in charge for nearly 30 games.

Performances have been fine, I don’t buy into the hysteria when we don’t dominate games start to finish, this is the Championship and it’s rarely like that. We have performed well enough to be 7th and in the last 16 of the cup. At times the football is the best we have seen in a long time, it’s...

Disagree, it’s been an excellent start to the season with a newly assembled side. After 8 games I would take where we are every day of the week.

Agree with that, he makes things happen. Too simplistic to look at goals and assists. He gets them by proxy, injecting attacking intent into the game. I don’t think he’s a goal scorer as such, but neither was Ronald last season.
