    I hate this team..

Can we relate to his pain or what 😂

Entertainment after a hard week in work.

Drudgery is a very accurate description of what we have witnessed in our teams from Cooper onwards

    Sheehan On Borrowed Time?

"Constant attacking down the wings" ? Not sure we're watching the same games here 🤔 But I agree we need a creative 10.

If we could see some desire to get forward, that would be good start for me.

Entertainment after a hard week in work.

It wasn't as boring though as the back, side, back crap these days though

It's a fine balance here. If we win 1-0 with 70% possession and loads of back sideways and back, then with 2 shots on target one of which is a goal, then not for me. For a team over 46 games and getting promotion, then as well as winning, they are also invariably pacy and entertaining

    ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED ?

I get what you're saying Darran. The only thing though is that in attending - and being frustrated or bored - means it's either a crowd that boos or groans... or one that's silent or sleeping. Neither is good for the team. I was in the North East yesterday and in fairness there were some early...

    ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED ?

Well..no I'm bloody not !! Apart from a few occasions, the football through Cooper, Martin, Duff, Williams and now Sheehan is pretty much a grind for me. The sideways, little bit forward, then back, then repeat etc etc is doing my head in. We have no pace (refreshing to watch QPR yesterday)...

    Sheehan On Borrowed Time?

I posted below on day one of the season. I also hoped that more signings would come before the end of the transfer window. They did in fairness. But in reality, it's def a case of lots of new names that mean diddly squat without quality (apart from Galbraith in the main). Actually "mid table...

You're so right on the going forward aim of the game, I still remember being entranced by my first winger idol Brian Evans. Always looked to beat his man . Today's stop, sideways and back stuff is so boring. Please give us some pace and decent crossing from the by-line for Vip

    I miss this era, immensely.

Like him or loathe him, Martinez was also a key part of that exciting second era. Can't airbrush him out.. I'll get my coat 😂

Yes. And some of us were fortunate to see the Toshack era also. Third time lucky eh, never say never.

    Ben Davies

Nice article this. A lot of us will remember his debut for the Swans. He stood out from day one. Well done Ben 👏 https://www.theguardian.com/football/2025/oct/13/unflappable-indispensable-ben-davies-wales?CMP=share_btn_url

Stop expecting perfection from us - top referee

Nope 😊. But I'm happy for you to have had the last word hopefully on this topic. Let's leave it go now.. and roll on next weekend

Stop expecting perfection from us - top referee

Both are food in basic terms. Players and refs are humans in basic terms. Both make mistakes is all I'm saying. Some simple mistakes by both. Some horrendous mistakes by both. It's not all one way traffic for refs causing the most lost points.

Stop expecting perfection from us - top referee

Of course there's a legitimate comparison. Each is a human being. Each makes mistakes. And yes, a pint is in order and I hate international breaks 😂

Stop expecting perfection from us - top referee

But the point surely being missed is that players equally make the most basic of errors, leading to goals being conceded through poor defending or open goals being missed through a poor pass or skewed shot. Happens a lot. I'd love to know how many points are lost through player mistakes versus...

Players make mistakes. Refs make mistakes. Simple as.

Stop expecting perfection from us - top referee

Of course officials make mistakes, like that one. But equally players make mistakes as well, when clearly they should have passed to create a stonewall goal, or whatever. Just share the blame out across refs and players is all I argue.
