Is Vitor Matos the Right Fit for Swansea City? The Case for Patience

Yes a balanced view. Also from his point of view it can either boost his career or lessen his future chances. If it is him that he has a massive job, to convince the team as well as fans.

Agree. You'd hope that working for 5 years with Klopp he's learned quite a bit. A risk yes, but hopefully he can bring the best out of our players and at least give us more tempo and attacking intent

It was just part of a post I read it as easier to get to than from Swansea. Plenty of flights from Newcastle to Sweden.

I'm falling out of love with football....

Yes about halfway back on the edge of the penalty area to the left of the goal. That reminded me that after the third goal my dad picked up someone's car keys off the terrace. Remember Port Vale ;)

I'm falling out of love with football....

Just think we could have been next to each other at Preston but didn't meet until Yeovil all those years later

I'm falling out of love with football....

"Maybe us older generation" That made me smile, then again it has been a few years. " been spoilt with the highs of Division 1. Europe and the Premier League and the victories over Petty and FL survival." It's been a varied time supporting the Swans and even the "low" times had it's highs.

As you say rumours are just that unless they come from a trusted source. To add though, it seems we are going all out for our number one target. Let's hope that they are prepared if he decides to stay or go elsewhere.

It needs something, and blinkers must be taken off, as it’s not working now, and won’t be much different in the foreseeable future and beyond.

There was an article I think on the BBC site a few days ago where you could select your local hospital to see how they fared in cancer waiting lists All were failing it really is a bleak outlook

Could well be but my comments have been based on the English system. Can’t comment on Wales but if worse then it’s a very low starting point

Thanks for that. Massive improvement needed to get from 65% to 92% As you posted earlier it needs a proper cross party agreement where today’s issues need addressing and that must include social care. For every positive initiative there comes along an unforeseen negative one. It’s beyond...

A few years ago I needed an op, but was told that the waiting list was over 12 months. Then I was told the op that I had chosen wasn't available at my local so would go on the waiting list at Cambridge. Two months of nothing so I decided to go private and within 3 weeks had it done in Luton. 2...

Your second point I agree with Whether I agree with policies, if they believe them to be the right way to go, then do it, they are in Government and should "Go for it"

Not a dig at you, as I think you've posted before a family member works in the NHS? I would like to see a breakdown of figures that show that waiting lists are coming down. Maybe they are for certain conditions, but how many are down due to people going private, just giving up or regretfully...
