Yeah, I got booted during the official sales as I got through the queue. Had to switch to 5g, start the queue again, and pay £214(!!!) each for four tickets. Never usually sit at a gig, but it is what it is. At the 02 now and unbelievably excited. Hope the Swans pass the time well

London only, doing 4 nights in a handful of cities across Europe. Very very lucky to have grabbed a ticket

    The ‘Vítor Matos’ Managerial Thread

'The club is working with Matos on finalising a backroom staff that provides the support and expertise to give him the best chance of being successful' does not fill me with confidence at all. He's coming in all alone, as an inexperienced manager, to work with two coaches who, as much as we...

Seeing Radiohead tomorrow, else I'd be there in a flash. Hope to get a big crowd in for VM

For people who rate Vital Swans, he's absolutely insistent that the release clause is not close to 1M euros. I will say - even if it is, that's £800,000. That's half a Bianchini, it's not a big outlay for a manager, even for a club like us

I will go blue in the face talking people down from Carrick, too. Three seasons at Middlesbrough (two and a half of which had Latte Lath, all had Hackney, two Azaz), and he got the play-offs once. They finished something like 4 points above us last season, and we were stinking

Basically the only reason I bought a ticket tbf, thought it would be a fun day out for his first game. Will instead be watching the Swans get battered and going Christmas shopping with the girlfriend

Also think managerial appointments are increasingly becoming a completely random grab-bag in terms of success. Manning at Norwich was a great appointment at the time, and we'd have 100% taken him here, yet he's led them to the worst start in the club's history. Still should have done much better...

    The ‘Vítor Matos’ Managerial Thread

Not that I disagree, but as I mentioned earlier on one of these threads - who are these experienced ex Championship managers? The only ones available are journeyman box-tickers like Mowbray, Warburton, or Hughton, and signing any of those basically says 'we're giving up for a bit'

    Burgess

Call me soft, but not a huge fan of our players playing in New York on a Tuesday, and then Bristol at 12pm on a Saturday. There was international break before the Hull game a few months ago, and Burgess had been in Australia 48 hours before, but still started. Can't honestly believe that he's...

Think he's a better manager than his Ranger stint implies, won the Belgian League with two different clubs. I'd have taken him, can't lie. I'm surprised Challinor is still at Stockport. Taken them from National League to the top of League 1, never finished lower than 8th in the league in his...

Only names that interest me currently are Tomasson and Still. No idea if we're interested in either, but Tomasson did a great job at Blackburn, and I refuse to write Still off because he failed at the shambles of Southampton.
