Absolutely right. I don't agree with his subs last night as others have said, but let's have a bit of perspective and recognise the leaps forward we've taken under him. Have we forgotten the sh*tshow under Page already?

It was such fine margins last night. Until I saw the slomo replay of Dan James' shot which hit the bar, I didn't realise it took a little nick off the heel of a defender who knew nothing about it. It was just enough to deflect it up onto the bar and not into the net. If that had gone in, I think we would have won.
Agree was in the algarve to watch the Gibraltar game woeful doesn't cover it, subs weren't right last night (armchair expert) but we are improving, no divine right to go to a WC

Indeed, Bellamy took a pay cut for the Cymru job from Kompany assistant...
Put his neck on the line when his country needed him by the sounds of it.

We'd do well to find another manager who cares as passionately about his country as Bellamy does

For the record - I love Bellamy as a young and exciting coach.
HOWEVER!! Last night there were some VERY questionable game management decisions.
Brennan Johnson (forget the penalty) was useless. He blows hot and cold - but when he is cold he is awful - needed to be hooked.
Cullen and Harris were very poor additions to a team trying to maintain control, and what in the world was the thinking behind keeping Sorba Thomas on the bench for so long? When he came on he instantly looked the best player on either side.
For the last 10 minutes, Cabango should have been on to protect the lead, and Sheehan is a good midfielder for keeping posession away from the Bosnians.
Last criticism was the famous "red wall" each and every supporter who was there needs to question whether they have the passion required to be the extra man to the team in a close game. Mostly silent and out sung by a small group of Bosnians.... Uma O Hyd my arse.

Watched the game on a 2 hour delay after recording it so avoided this thread until today.

We were knocked out because our thoughts were on Italy.

Team, management, crowd thought job done when we went a goal up and we were lucky to even get to penalties.

Taking off James and Brooks was unforgiveable. Can only imagine it was to keep them as fresh as possible for Tuesday. Bringing Cullen on for Jordan James was unforgiveable when Sheehan was on the bench. Or we could have brought on Cabango if we were going to sit back and run down the clock.

The melee on the touchline was unforgiveable when calm heads were needed.

Agree with previous poster that it was utterly obvious they would score when Cullen hit a ball out for a corner with absolutely no pressure on him at all.

Such a shame. We really missed Moore as well. Although bringing on Harris instead of Broadhead was also unforgiveable.

Bellamy is doing ok and there’s no one available that would be an improvement but he has to take the blame for last night.
